Ever wanted asymmetrical wheels on your trailer? No? Too bad, you are getting them anyway because it's the only way I can get them to work if the trailer is part of the car in the slots system. I know it's a big mess but due to the way tow hitches are positioned on cars the wheels would spawn in different spots depending on the car because of the offset settings the devs used there, so I had to use another technique for wheels offset which requires making stuff asymmetrical. It means I have to copy+paste some wheels and tires and make them asymmetrical. I'm only porting 4-lug steel wheels for now, no car specific, alluminum, race, rally, drift, drag, etc. They make no sense on a trailer anyway. Maybe later when I have a lot more time, I can add asymmetrical wheel hub swaps for my first mod, but I would have to port all wheels in the game to that. I need to finish this trailer mod first, and it's maybe 10% done, probably less.
I'm not making any hubcaps for cars, I'm not even making any car wheels, these only work on my trailers
It turns out making suspension in Jbeam is like making suspension in real life, half of the process is figuring out where that annoying banging noise is coming from...
If i'm not wrong, In previous posts, you were makinga mod which anyone can put for example: Front left hubcap Front right hubcap Rear right hubcap Rear left hubcap Idk if i'm right or wrong =(
What I have so far in the trailer mod: 2 trailers, utility small and utility large, available on any vanilla car, should also work on most mods that have tow hitches if they are set up properly, will test this on some more mods 2 attachment options: by coupler like a normal trailer (has to be reattached after each reset) or by beam like a car part (attached by default but can't be detached) Silver skin for each trailer Suspensions with asymmetrical wheels support, you can change each tire pressure separately, have every wheel or every tire different, etc. 9 wheel options in 4 sizes, 3 tire options on average for each No loads yet, planning to add more trailers first, planning also T-Series support with its truck trailers
