Hey Folks! Hope you are doing fine I'd been using some mods a while ago and found some nice commercial cars like Rav4s, Yaris... Those are great, but the thing is that they don't have any sound, they works pretty well however would be great to have their sound working I've been checking a couple of threads here, but not totally sure of how a few things work. For example, I already got the ogg sounds for idle, low, mid and high for the Rav4, the thread that explains this one works over sbeam, but the Rav4 mode works with jbeam How can add to this one those sounds and make it work? Thanks!
I don't know how to help you, but where did you get these mods ? Sites like modsgaming are sketchy websites that got crappy or stolen mods.
I hate to self-advertise, but download my toyota truck engines mod, click on the art folder, and inspect the folder structure and how i did everything. you're talking about using the old sound system, which is outdated, so i would suggest using the new system (which i use in my mod) or just using the sounds already in the game. Also, if you don't have extremely high quality sounds and at least 30-40 sound samples, then it won't sound good. if i were you I would use the sounds already in game. for a rav 4, i would use "I4_3_engine" as the engine sound (in the engine jbeam file ofc) and "I4_2_exhaust" as the exhaust sound. good luck! within this section of the engine jbeam file:
