Re: General discussion chat Most pre 40's cars found today that haven't been stored in a garage are either too far gone or missing to many hard to find parts to be brought back to original condition, It's also a lot easier and almost always cheaper to build a custom then a matching #'s resto. I like rat rods that represent the hot rods built during the 30's and 40's, built very cheap for nothing but straight line speed.

Re: General discussion chat I'm just wondering, has anyone else seen someone's account deleted for bad behavior? There was just someone (the author of L) who had their account deleted (not banned) and their thread deleted. PS: I also saved the thread before it was deleted, just for the lols.

Re: General discussion chat so petrovsky, is it safe to make and run a rusted car as a rat rod? i know the frame should have minimal rust, but what about the body? just surface rust? or can there be holes?
Re: General discussion chat Surface rust doesnt actually impact structural integrity significantly, its its deep set rust then you have a very brittle material unsuitable for road use. Check local state laws for legality of it.
