So, in the garage to garage scenario, if you quit to main menu or some other mode in the middle of a delivery, it will be as if that delivery never happened, and it won't count as an abandonment. This makes it easier to quit between deliveries. This also makes it possible to salvage your perfect streak when you'd otherwise be out of luck, like when you barely clip an oncoming car and your front fenders crash-weld behind each other or something stupid like that. I both do and don't feel bad about doing that; I feel bad because I messed up and wildly overestimated how much room I had, but I don't because my car was still 100% mobile other than the crash-weld. Also, since I feel like I'm too hard on the game sometimes, I'd like to take a moment to express how yummy carbon fiber looks now with PBR.
The laggy UI is now fixed no more lag when spawn a lot of apps, if you spawn to much resource-intensive apps it'll still lag a bit like 0.22, but as soon as you remove them the UI is smooth. Unfortunately, the RAM usage is still higher than the game in 0.22 (may or may not caused by UI)
True this. But for me with really low end hardware, and having a lot of UI apps such as simple brake thermals, torquecurve app, engine and clutch thermals and stuff, it's improved compared to the previous hotfix.
(Safe Mode) The UI does not show up in some parts of the campaigns. It loads the "type career" UI (great news ) instead of the scenario UI and it doesn't load the first time loading of the episode because of the in-development UI. Also if your fps is limited (like 30 fps) while doing the campaigns in some cinematic cutscenes your fps drops to half (15 fps) for slow motion, so even if you don't experience frame drops while driving, these scenes look choppy instead of smooth. Edit: Edit2: wall jump episode, 10th from senseless destruction, the wall is spiky.
License plates don't seem to be fixed, if anything, they only take 10 times more time to load. On a good side, the UI is faster than ever now!
Ok, so if i create a replay, it works just fine. but if i want to then play that replay from the main menu, it doesn't work AT ALL. I've had this issue since version 0.23 dropped and its driving me nuts!
Cars will randomly spawn with dashboard lights not working in the newest update (it's happened to the gauges on both the new Ibishu Pessima and the Hirochi Sunburst so it's not a car-specific problem). I'm also not sure if it's related to the update (since I didn't mess with the quality settings much before) but shadows are acting like they're horribly unoptimized, simply turning them from none to partial cuts my FPS in at least half (from about 45-50 to 15-30) and makes the game stutter like crazy. Tested on West Coast USA in safe mode.
GPU not responding fatal error, 50% of the time when using Photomode, Happens in safemode too. Only after latest patch
