Few cars have brighter low beams comparing to high beams: - Bolide - H-series - Hopper Moonhawk pre facelift (with single headlamps) have strange high beams. They are too narrow, looks more like spotlight than high beam. However if it's how it should looks like then low beams should stay on. D-series Crawler Crew Cab, Rock Racer and SuperPig don't have modded lights. T-series high beams are pointing too low. They don't lit enough on long distance. Also there are two strange spots in SBR4 above low beams.
Pigeon and Wigeon lights are too low (both low and high beams). 200BX on the same distance for comparison. Also Pigeon high beams are off centred (similar to Miramar so IDK if it's intended or not). Charrier have small high beams. Barstow have slightly different lights for fixed and rotating versions. Fixed: Rotating: Lights in Wendover pre-facelift are pointing a little too low comparing to facelifted version. Pre-facelift Facelift In Grand Marshal high beams are too high. Now few questions because I don't know if it's intentional or not. 1. Few cars (mostly from 80s) have straight lights pointing very low (example photo: ETK I-series). Others cars that have it are old Pessima (similar to ETK I-series), LaGran (pointing somewhat low), Wendover (pointing somewhat low), Bolide (straight line), D-Series (straight line). Is it intended? I remember in 0.22 version lights were pointing a little bit higher. 2. Why D-Series light colour is changed from yellowish to more bluish? Shouldn't only facelifted versions have that? Roamer still have that yellowish lights. 3. I don't know if it's a placebo or something but I feel like lights are now much brighter than in 0.22. I hope I don't sound a little too much nitpicky, I'm just curious. I love this mod, because without it driving at night in BeamNG is just sad.
I would like to know if it is possible to add this headlight mod to other vehicle mods. There are vehicle mods I love but I cannot use them at night. Thanks
Your shadow visibility are partial? If yes, it's normal, when this option is in partial, the game leaves the image of the beam of the light small in relation to the normal one. --- Post updated --- Since the last update to now, I changed the maximum angle of the halogen headlights, to be more realistic, because before i left it at 90º degrees, but the cars, there's not that much angle... now I use around 60º to 75º degrees.. And the D-Series, I can change this, sometimes I forget to change the color of the headlights --- Post updated --- Nop, because that could cause conflict issues or something. But if the person who made the mod wants to do it in his mod, he can do it...
Hmmm, are you sure? I've always had partial shadows before and everything works fine. Also I have lightning set to high. Here I changed to All and it looks the same as before. Small high beams in Charrier, too high (and TBH also too small) beams in Grand Marshal. The only difference are in Pidgeon and Widgeon lights that they illuminate a little higher/further than before (but Pidgeon still have off centred lights). For me it just looks like light cones are too narrow. Example Roamer that looks fine for me and Wendover (one of the cars that have just small illumination area). Roamer Wendover
Hey, first I must say that it is really a damn good mod. Would it also be possible to add light to the license plate?
Idk, but probably. As I don't know how to modify the files much, I wouldn't be able to do that, I only know the basics and I can only modify what is already in the programming...
Nice job! Now it looks good. I forgot to mention one thing, Roamer also have modern facia. Since modern D-series have more bluish lights can you also change colour of the lights in modern Roamer? Also I have question about Sunburst RS bumper. It's been a long time and it still have incorrect lights. Is this some kind unfixable problem?
"Since modern D-series have more bluish lights can you also change colour of the lights in modern Roamer?" For sure, I'll Change this in the next update. "Also I have question about Sunburst RS bumper. It's been a long time and it still have incorrect lights. Is this some kind unfixable problem?" Yep. I Already tried somethings. But without success.
Would this also be something you might include in a next update? Its not a headlight but I do think it will also be a great realism improvement on lighting in general especially with the new reflections!
