So lads, has 0.23 changed anything? I know it added oil pans, but I'm not sure how much that affects the vehicle. Anything else that I missed?
As far as I know (I am at work, but Sithhy is goofing around with it) it sounds like it has made the jump relatively unscathed. I don't know how the oil pan works as of yet (my guess is it would use defined beams similar to radiators and exhausts) but they will be implemented just like all other new Beam features.
Looked at the oil pan stuff in official vehicles, it's not just beams but also some settings like min and max safe oil volume, starting volume and other things. It also needs 2 extra nodes, one that stores oil and one as ref node so the game knows where the oil pan is. It can't be too hard to implement.
Isn't that old news? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but the original model was from a Russian website, right? Since then, you've done all custom bodywork from scratch? I may be misremembering, this was like 140 pages ago.
The original was the model of the H1 Alpha from NFS World... no Russians were involved in the making of this mod ever. (unless I am secretly Russian spy) But yes, it has been remade I think like... 5 or 6 times now? There are 0 models or JBeams remaining from back before like... the first 30 pages of this thread.
if i may critique something i would say that this part looks a bit flat and textureless maybe make a small indentation at the edge to make it look less empty ? otherwise looks amazing Sithhy ^^
