0.22 Discussion thread | Use Safe Mode before reporting

I wonder if in 0.23 this old issue would be fixed or if it requires some changes that are more sensible along the road.

Anyway, UI elements that are chose to be hidden in driver camera mode, they like to show up if you press esc, then click game option icon.

To hide them, you need to switch to other view.

This is happening when driver camera is your default, it is not so apparent if you have chase view as default, because you would then switch to driver camera and that essentially hides UI apps again.

So when UI game options menu is drawn, those UI elements that have hide box ticked, that tick is ignored, but when camera is switched, then tick is read properly.

Anyway might be something to check for 0.23 if it still happens there as it might be easy fix, yeah right, like if it ever would be as easy as one imagines, but...

 

I mean it's kind of obvious that that picture shows the turbofan hubcaps of the 18x11 wheel. In other words, they're are moved to the sides and don't match the wheel size.

Try it in safe mode. If the problem doesn't occur in safe mode, the problem is caused by mods.

 

Did you even read the title? Use Safe Mode before reporting". Both of those skins are from fiction pack or I think one of those is from belasco pack and the other one is from fiction pack (as I remember), those aren't official so you shouldn't report it in here.

i read it and tried everything. even uninstalled the mods. i was only asking for a possible fix

 

The devs don't have to change the game files to work with those broken mods, the mod author should change his mod to work with the current version. You should report it in the discussion thread of those mods or in the reviews if they haven't any discussion thread

 

This binding:

It works fine on automatic, DCT, manual transmissions but when I use it on sequential transmissions, it works wierd. When I press it on sequential transmissions, it shifts down to previous gear instead go to neutral gear. (Tried in safe mode. Tried with out any assistance)

 

Isn't that what is supposed to happen ? With sequential transmissions you can only shift up and down, you can't skip to neutral gear.

 

Well, at least the gearbox safety has a bug. Because I tried it with gearbox safety too and it let me go to 5th gear to 2nd gear with pressing the neutral position key 3 times. And it broke my engine. So the gearbox safety is broken

Is that even a fuel line? I assumed it was part of the cabin heater

 

Thats the cabin heater, you can follow it all the way to behind the dashboard.

exhaust warm, intake air goes around exhaust and to the cabin

 

it's a heat exchanger that wraps over the exhaust manifold, the real beetle engine which this is based off employs the same system.
