So i ported the legendary dust 2 to BeamNG.drive, this map is meant to be walked around (press F to leave your car and walk around). i originally wanted to do the CSGO version but for some reason, it didn't export it correctly. known issues: sometimes shadows can be a bit messed up Credits: Valve: original map Me: exporting and importing into beamng drive (I think I fixed it, if it still doesn't work please tell me) Installation: drop the downloaded file into C:\Users\username\Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods
Hmm strange, it might be conflicting with the default template map from the game, i will look into it
go to Documents/BeamNG.drive/levels/ and copy the folder that contains the map into the zip folder. Everytime you make a change, a folder is created with the updates. Thats what you're missing
than I don't know. i will probably just delete this thread and reupload once I am 100% sure that it works --- Post updated --- oh so I just upload that?
yeah your folders might look different, but whenever you make changes to a map, a folder is created with the changes inside. so for example, it would be BeamNG.drive/0.22/levels/gridmap and everything inside that file, you drag into the zip file. The file you uploaded. Make sure you've deleted the folder inside the levels folder located in Documents afterwards
