Would be nice to see a config where the engine doesn’t always work etc, but that’s probably too much not ask. My grandad had a 330D with 290bhp still going strong at 190k miles lol

Wrong, the 800 is from 2013 - 2017. This is based on the generation slightly before that. A simplified interior would be needed

The interior looks perfect for 2010-2013, but not for 2007-2009. I don't know if you should change it or have two separate versions of the car which have the different interior generations.

it’s not that. It’s that it’s ripped from a completely different model.

It looks so wrong without the infotainment screen.

And the ETK 800 interior (and really the entire car) is a 2007-2013 type style.

3 series and 5 series interior is almost identical, wouldn't make sense to make big changes.

Might be these! 2007 would be the bottom one, (background story: "ETK decided to experiment with their iDrive infotainment system, so they took the E90 iDrive infotainment and stuck it onto the 300 Series!") probably just make it look extremely dated. 2008-2009 would be the top one, (background story: "After the infotainment system was a big hit, they decided to create a new variation of their iDrive infotainment system just for the 300 Series!") again make it look extremely dated.

I agree the dash looks empty with nothing there.
Excuse my bad photoshop skills but I was thinking that moving feature like the vents and radio upwards, it could fix the fact that the dash looks empty.

Maybe something like this. I know my edit looks a bit weird, but it's just meant to be like an idea.

Yes, looks slightly better, although I do believe adding that generation's iDrive infotainment would fix it entirely, due to the fact that most BMW's from that generation had iDrive infotainment, or at least the higher/sport trims.

Didn't the idrive of the generation create another bump in the dash?
You have the gauges bump, and then the idrives bump, the edited version with the idrive might be able to do that, looks better imo

the 300-series isn't supposed to be a complete carbon copy of the 3-series
if a mere "dash bump" matterred, just make the damn 3 series and don't jump through all these hoops

Honestly I disagree, a bump in the dashboard interrupts it, having it down there makes the flow better

I reckon adding a small storage box/ glasses holder to the center dash for the lower trims, sort of like you'd see in a Ford F150. Just an idea

nice job with the ac controls, radio and vents
if I were you i'd make the top of the infotainment a bit more straight instead of just curved all the way (kind of like a trapezoid but the corners are curved
i'm not rocking with the steering wheel that well tbh, i'd take inspiration from a different model just to switch it up a bit from the 3-series
