I did genuinely consider not completing this because my one rule was broken...

But I had a random bit of inspiration so here's my remastered rear subframe model in excruciating high detail:

    Compared to the old one:

It mildly sucks because all this detail I've put in is obscured by the body, it is literally impossible to see in game.

I've got it actually all beamed up with no exploding bits in game and it works alright, now I just have to overhaul the front suspension I modelled six years ago.

Here's the engine in game (will be overhauling this model too probably):

Expect some high poly models and expect horrendous frame rates because I am too lazy for optimising my mesh. lol.

a few badge/styling tweaks could probably make it repo ready, maybe throwing it under a beamng company or just making your own with different nomenclature

also, this looks absolutely phenomenal, keep up the good work lad ^^

Turns out it is a weird looking intake manifold:

I was just too lazy to do actual detail on the carbs, but when I go over it again (hopefully soon) I'll put a bit more work into it. That top bit is to put the coolant in, it's meant to be an absolute bitch to bleed these engines since the rad is up the front and the hoses go all the way under the car.

I'm working on the front suspension JBeam, I'm just giving it a simple double wishbone set up for now, with the shock also having a coil spring on it. I haven't got everything properly in yet, but I can't get the wheels to attach to the hub nodes. I've based the JBeam off of a bit of everything and it's not completely done yet but when I spawn in the car the wheels just sit there not moving with the suspension at all. Anyone have any ideas what might be going wrong? I can upload a copy of my front suspension if someone is keen to have a look

Also here's my model for the front suspension; Not finished, but it's getting there:
