I made (a VERY janky and WIP) 7-speed transmission somewhat mimicking the one KITT canonically has in Knight Rider, but I hit a issue: it apparently breaks vanilla Wendover transmissions somehow. Wat do? Reusing this thread for a related question: is there a formula out there to calculate gear ratios by speed? Looking for a ~200 mph top speed with 8 gears with reasonable spread.
Hm.. is it made for the Bluebuck or for the Wendover ? Because the slot type is set to "wendover_transmission". Also, it's a 7 gear box but its name is "wendover_transmission_8A".
I am such a retard, I meant the Wendover. not only that, it's still highly WIP and i'd have to come up with 8 proper gear ratios Either way I fixed it, I added _KR to the filename and it does not overwrite vanilla transmissions anymore.

try to base it off the stock wendover 4 speed by shortening and adding the ratios. i would suggest making 6th the 1:1 ratio and the rest just overdrive gears.
