Released B25 Mitchell 7.2

All good, thank you. Even though I am a bit preoccupied with work, Primethebomber did new wheel meshes already. I started to implement them in game. When I get them finished I will post an update

 

sorry for the bump but in the new update ive noticed a weird bug
sometimes when you crash the body just floats in midair and when you show the collision triangles it speaks for itsself

 

I've noticed this happens if you crash the plane with the bombs loaded. It's been broken for a while. Maybe try it without the bombs?

 

It didn’t have bombs tho

 

Ok, that's a problem which I have no idea how to fix. I guess you have to wait for the mod author to reply with a solution.

Wow, what a ride on this beast.. truly amazing mod, well done!

Just one thing I noticed that could be fixed:
The plane flies like you're in a permanent crosswind. Especially when landing it's noticable.
Quite fun, the first few times but it gets anoying after a while.
I checked the Weather: 0 wind.. Vehicle specs: Everything allright..
But then I noticed one thing that might react with BeamNG's physics and causes the problem:
Unlike in reality, the propellers are rotating both in the same direction, not one against the other as they should. I'm sure there's a way to fix that

The engines on the B-25 rotate in the same direction, engines are not made handed unless specifically called for in prototypes or special use aircraft. This mod is accurate to the real deal in that respect.

EDIT my bad it is actually broken the same as the an12 when you crash it

 

I'm getting the same thing here for both planes, and it's a REAL shame! I loved them...
It is really likely the most recent update killed the detachable parts for them.

mod doesnt work for some but it does for me and @a plane guy so i really dont know what is happening

 

Its the tires, if you pop them it spams a massive error in the console witch disables everything until you hard reset it as seen here on the an12 (its the same issue but i cant be bothered taking a picture of the same error https://www.beamng.com/threads/0-21-antonov-an-12b-fixed-lua-error.53467/page-27#post-1413109

 

Can't we just simply modify the vehicle in the menu to get rid of the landing gear if that's the case?

 

Well, you could but you couldnt take off or land.
Also it does it with the me262 aswell :/

 

Ive fixed it out of pure boredom but the front wheel spins a bit wobbly, and the clanging when gears up is fixed. If this needs taking down pm me
Also this fix is only ment for crashing, if you just wanna fly like a normal pilot use the repo version

, but they're hard to understand, maybe you could make the controls simpler. Like maybe changing them to the arrow keys
