i’m sorry but this is mostly a problem on your side bro. If your laptop heats up like that is probably because the internals are probably weak and they’re being overloaded. sorry for the bad news.
Press "3". Also you'll have to figure the whole steering with a wheel thing, I have never used a wheel for the bike since I don't own one. Good luck though
I think the relative camera key was like 4 or something. Look around until you get the camera mode “Relative” and then you can use it to move around.
The lag that you're facing is most likely due to the high-poly model used for this mod. At more than 1.6 million tris overall, many PCs will struggle to hit even 30 FPS when using it; high-end gaming rigs are unlikely to notice any lag in contrast until more are spawned in-game. The large file size for the model at 180 MB doesn't help matters either. Generally speaking, high-poly models result in spiky deformation, no matter how well-made the JBeam structure is. If you're reading this CRGZ, then do you mind if you can optimize the model? You should have learned that lower-poly models are better suited for BeamNG versus higher-poly ones. If you want this to be accessible to as many users as possible, then start by cutting down on the model's file size. Not everyone has a gaming rig that's as powerful as yours.
Yes, I just noticed how large my file is. It's due to the amount of configs and somewhat detail. I'll try to reoptimize it if I can. I'm sorry about the inconvenience, thank you
Now that it's uploaded I might be able to check what is wrong with the skins, the whole mod is looking very promising!
yeah, i've seen the photos on multiple discord servers and here it is! lol i've been waiting for it for a long time. Thank you for making this blessed mod
Fixed the skin, you got the materials file all wrong, or just copied it from a vanilla vehicle without accually learning how to make a skin... This model isn't even skinnable, it only has 1 UV map per part, and all the UVs and materials are messy and not made to work with BeamNG at all. To get it to work I had to make the skin file replace the default texture with the police one. It's not the best solution but it's the only possible one on a model that is not skinnable. Attached a working materials file. Also, to fix the error message on spawn, replace your custom vehicle controller in the body with vehicleController like this: "controller": [ ["fileName"], ["vehicleController", {}] ], The error is because the game can't find a controller with this name so it uses vehicleController instead. Also try to make the crash physics better, the whole vehicle is unrealistically strong, and making any part fall off results in a glitchy mess. Fix the console errors too, there are not many and easy to fix. And delete the Jbeam from Blender, it only causes extra lag. Also add collision to the mirrors if possible. This is almost a good mod, it's decent and can be better with these fixes.
Dude thank you so much for the fix, I've been having so much trouble for the last couple months, you really did it well man, props to you, I greatly appreciate it man --- Post updated --- I'm optimizing it
i hope the lagg issue will be fixed as well because my game is lagging like hell with this mod its so sad cause i really want to drive it
