Game Crashing with use of Node Grabber

With the release of the 0.22, and even installing the latest patch, the Node Grabber will crash my game almost instantaneously when trying to grab a node. It happens on most vehicles, but more prone to happen with the new Soliad Wendover, it seems. I have no mods enabled, just the vanilla game. Does anyone know a fix? Would reinstalling help?

 

You're not the only one having that issue. Like you, just the vanilla game...well, mostly, only two mods (but they're license plates). And it's annoying as well, considering how much i like to make other cars go flying using said tool

 

Ahh, gotcha. I might try reinstalling later today and see if that fixes it. It doesn't seem to be a common issue with people.

 

Hey guys I two had a crash recently with the Node Grabber. I spawned on the automation track with the pickup as usual and decided to play with the super high definition new mattress, i placed one in the truck via walking mode, then i decided to clone it, the second time around i lifted it with the node grabber and it was just slightly off the ground and all of a sudden game froze and crashed. Hopefully the devs can find out why. It's on a fresh install so incase anyone may assume a re-install might fix it, it might not but i'm assuming

 

Hey all, sorry for the late reply. I did end up reinstalling the game, and no luck. However, after the reinstall, I went into the Beam launcher and did a "deep clean" of the game cache. This has seemed to fix the issue, haven't had it again since then. If you're still having the issue, I would try this. Best of luck!

 

I'll try it. As someone still new to this game, how do i perform a "deep clean"?

 

Fresh install, no mods. I still have this issue, but only with the wendover. Only happens if I grab the rear chassis.
