Update Speculation thread

After the Bolide Sunburst and Moonhawk my guess would be a remaster of one of the pessimas probably the old one first since it has really little content when compared to the other cars in the game

 

Honestly i think the next steps are these (i don't know in what order): Bolide remaster, Pigeon remaster, Moonhawk remaster, sunburst remaster, H-series remaster and maybe some rework for the ibishu family. I assume we will have new content for: Moonhawk, Burnside, Barstow, T-series, covet, Pessima gen2, Miramar, DT40L and maybe Piccolina. New restylings for: H-series, Grand Marshal, Bolide, Burnside, Moonhawk. Finally new body styles for: Covet, Etk800, fose also Etk I, I hope for Burnside and maybe for Bad gen1.

the older Pessima has an average amount of content, maybe you are talking about the newer one
at least they added sport intakes in 0.22

 

Yes i mean the 96 one it is really lacking the covet is fine i guess some new body styles like a 5 door would be nice but other than that its fine

 

Bolide might actually be getting the complete do over......

i'd love to see a covet sedan or some other 80s/90s compact. i remember there used to actually be a covet sedan mod

I've been looking around Hirochi Raceway like an idiot but I just can't find that exact spot with a hairpin curve that sharp and a sand trap inside the curve. Anyone want to take a second look?

 

Exactly, other than quality improvements I can't really imagine anything the Pigeon doesn't have that would still realistically seem like something you'd find on such a vehicle.

It isn't like it'd really make sense to have a lot of different trims like base/sport/luxury, and custom/racing parts also don't really make a lot of sense, other than maybe one crazy modified (engine-swapped maybe?) config, because IRL there are of course also going to be people who would build such a thing.

EDIT: Maybe something like a facelift variant with more plastic around the front/rear and "nicer" rims (or a pre-facelift variant with less plastic and instead metal/chrome) could work to increase the variety, but within the current variant I can't really imagine a lot more that would make sense to be added.

 

I bet that the main features for the 0.23 are Gridmap revamp and Bolide revamp. Both have been in the game for a very long time with relatively no changes, there’s also hard evidence for both that they are working on revamps.
