0.22 Discussion thread | Use Safe Mode before reporting

Yooo what happened to my bar codes lol

 

Game broke a huge bit, I get the weird message at the top left that says something about a clean install, so I copy-and-pasted everything from the old user folder, to the new one, and it broke it more.
Not to mention I have no tacho when I spawn in, and the car makes no noise, and it stays in neutral it's so annoying!

 

When I spawn 5 vehicles the sound cuts in and out.

 

I don't think oil pan damage is doing anything. Nothing seems to trigger no matter what, even though it's trigger ratio is very low. Love the addition though!

 

Broken mods.

 

Extremely WIP and using a mod I absolutely didn't steal for this purpose:


When I have some more time I'll also take a crack at making a Knight Industries 8-speed Turbodrive transmission.

 

Here's my list of things I've noticed that are wonky or otherwise annoying:

• Every time an update is pushed, all of the mods get disabled.
• Every time an update is pushed and it goes through the data migration, the levels folder does not get migrated to the new version (i.e., and level edits you made stay behind).
• When you enable your mods again after an update, you'll basically have to restart the game to get them to show up.

• Finally, for the one which is BY FAR the most annoying for me. If I create a new jbeam for a vehicle (mainly engines and transmissions, since that's all I really do), to get the new part to show I have to delete the old zip and copy over the new one (duh) and then COMPLETELY restart the game. Also for whatever reason, name changes also seem to require a restart now.

 

Maybe this should go in trouble shooting: I keep getting a disk write error when trying to install the update. This has never happened before. Plus anti-virus was triggered.

I can't figure out what to do to get this to install. Any suggestions?

 

I just now found out that you can Super Jump in Walk Mode!
Whilst holding LB, press RT to sprint as you release. I managed to jump on top of the garage in Utah!
(BTW can anyone else do this? Or is it just me?)

The trigger has to be in the center of the screen, it doesnt matter where your cursor is. Just pretend you are no-scoping or something idk. I discovered it like an hour ago.

 

No mods that alter the Wendover at all installed. Can confirm it happened again in the hotfix. Wendover is losing badge and lettering textures if more than one is installed for me.

Course of action is the following:

Spawn Wendover > Spawn LeGran > Spawn Other Vehicles > Spawn second Wendover

 

Can anyone tell me why the Launcher is now translated to my native language - russian, in this case?

English Windows 10, English Steam, the game is set to English in both Steam and the game's settings - but russian language in the launcher?

And how do I turn this unwanted translation off?

 

I meant for the actual oilpan_damage deform group, was hoping it had a function similar to radiators breaking.
