Factory stick shift in a personal luxury car of this era? Not realistic, and considering that the factory configs for the GM and facelift Roamer ommited most or all (too lazy to check right now) stick shifts, I think it's safe to say the normal factory configs won't be getting manual versions. Maybe the performance spec, but IRL counterparts (Toronado Trofeo and Reatta) didn't get one. We might see one in those for gameplay reasons though. I'm sure we will see an aftermarket one though, refer to the GM's config selection. I really hope we don't get a "base" trim level. If I was an old well off person buying an expensive 1980's/1990's luxury car and the salesman said "here's the trim level we call 'base model", I'd be a bit upset. A derby variant is... Well it's BeamNG so we will probably get one since everything else does, even if it is odd to see. Same story for all the non-factory special configs honestly. So that leaves us with like 6 configs if we only get 1 body style and no corperate/platform cousins. I think it's safe to say we will see more than that. Not only is that unusual for a the current era of BeamNG development, but the devs have on multiple occasions said they want it to be more unique than the original concept since so many people were worried it would be boring and this car has taken unusually long to develop (the pattern was one new car every other update for the Piccolina/Bluebuck/FCV)
I completely forgot about V8 swaps, that´s a possibility as well. The only other swap we currently have are the two smaller Gavril V8s in the Hopper.
If there is a V8 swap, it would hopefully be from the Moonhawk. It would be era-accurate and make sense as Soliad is a division of Bruckell.
i doubt it would have a longitudinal V8 conversion, as at that point you need a new engine, gearbox, rear axle (and all its associated mounting points), which pretty much requires a whole new floorpan, at which point you may as well put in a full body rollcage, redo the interior and front suspension, and have a gen 3 stock car. And to be honest, I can't see them using a moonhawk v8 until they've updated the model as it's near one of the worst in the game. something else to talk about was those "S2R" adaptive suspension parts for the SBR. could we be getting a sort of GT3-RS inspired version?
I mean... yeah? That's normally how engine conversions work. But you're right, when I made that idea I didn't think about all the extra components that would be needed. I guess it would be a lot of unnecessary effort that the developers probably aren't going to do (with good reason).
they could do a fake update on April 1st with only the base model and then release the full one a day later
I think that would be quite funny. I mentioned this before, and it would be great (in my opinion) if the developers pranked the community by releasing a fake update.
GM H Bodies (the closest vehicles to the Wendover) exclusively had V6 engines ranging from 3.0 to 3.8 litres of displacement and 4 speed automatic transmissions. The C body was just a more luxurious H body and the Cadillacs had 4.3 to 4.9 transverse V8s so would make sense for a v8 luxury variant with a different shaped body and luxury interior and exterior touches.
Taken from the new documentation. Edit: New trailer livery New props matress Edit 2: Wendover also seems to have some new round bois wheels
Holy moly! These are BEAUTIFUL! We are really close to an update. This update will be one of the best and biggest.
Ok now it may be sooner then we knew. DAAAAM boi that bed seen some life. Anyway maybe its this or next week
Wow, they both look like cheap pieces of junk... let's hope there's some good options to deck 'em out with If that's the case, we are on red alert. Update likely in next 48 hours
