Outdated Engine Sounds Remastered

Sounds for what motors if I may ask?

 

The Vivace I4 diesel and petrol.

The sounds were recorded off a nissan micra and a ford transit.

 

I hope you'll change the 200BX and old Pessima sounds to be more like the CA18DET/SR20DET (since the 200BX is a 240SX and the old Pessima is an S13). I might have some loops if you want them, they came from a GMod mod called "Foore's Sounds", I just extracted the .gma and got the .wav files. I could send you them but I don't know how great they are for your standards, you'd have to see for yourself. But they definitely loop.

i dont know whic engines exactly are effected with this mod would be a nice hint to know which engines do have the custom sounds otherwise than that great mod

well i would love the mod even more if the sunburst gets an subaru impreza boxer sound cause its based on one but the miramar and the sunburst are my fav i know he already has a boxer like sound but i mean more subaru like just an idea

 

Maybe, but although the sunburst is based off a subaru, it has an inline 4 and I want my sounds to be engine accurate. I'm planning on doing subaru sounds for the SBR4 though, as that actually has a boxer 4.

What are you basing the Sunburst on? The 4G63?

 

I'm changing almost all of the samples in the next update anyway. With my current version, the sunburst has the sounds of a 1.6L HR engine from a nissan micra. It suits is pretty well, I think.

 

Hi. when i use this mod the vivace and tograc engines become very wobboly and the engine struggles to keep idle and cuts out. the sounds seem to have messed with engine mounts or something.

 

The latest version of the game broke the mod. I'm fixing it now. ;D

Hey Born 2 Drive, have you done any remasters to the sounds of the V8? Or are you currently working on doing that possibly? I would really love to hear remastered versions of the D-Series, Bluebuck, Barstow, Moonhawk, etc. Thanks!

 

Yes, that is all coming, I'm sticking to the smaller engines for now, then I'm going on to the bigger ones

 

Any idea how to make other engines use your sounds?

Like someone made an "Easy Customizable Engines" mod that adds customizable versions of all the vanilla engines (rev limits, torque output, efficiency, etc.), and I wanted to apply the sounds to those.
