If you remember correctly, just before the last update was released some other people and I found a bunch of pics in car_killer's imgur, which he said were there on purpose. He hasn't posted pics with new content yet, showing that the update may not be near.
I'm honestly not sure what to think of all these teasers at the moment, to be honest. It just doesn't add up, really.
one thing I find interesting is the lack of a Soliad badge anywhere in the interior; most likely just because it's not completely done yet, but still something to note
I'm pretty sure the little spot in the middle of the steering wheel is the badge, it just can't be seen clearly because of a lack of detail
I wonder if we will be able to walk into the few buildings that have interiors. (Bird research station in Small Island, swamp house in East Coast, most buildings in Utah)
TDev was bored, lol. The devs seem very proud of this new feature and want to update us on it. Nothing terribly unusual about that.
Seeing how walking is now a feature, would be kinda neat to have parked cars as part of the traffic system. Maybe even have an option in the settings menu to have traffic spawn by default for systems that can handle it.
I'm totally making a mod where the player is a crash test dummy and walks around with animation if it's possible, this is epic!
im very much in love with this walking mode but i cant help but think the whole opening doors and hood thing could be implemented much better what if the game made it so that when you click on the front of the hood or the door handles it detaches the lock node (it's already possible through breaking all beams), that would allow you to open and close stuff easily and we could use the hold in place to freeze stuff open then maybe when you let go of the door/hood/trunk you're opening the door node automatically "locks" again so if it's in the right position it'll shut properly idk, it just looks so janky to still have to rip open the hood after all this effort has been put into the walking mode
Wait a minute, the gridmap map was still the same. Weren't they supposed to update it? It could be that the old version is separate, or that they haven't started changing it. If it is the latter, then the update is probably a lot farther away than we thought.
