hi im wondering if anyone has the gloster meteor or cessna 172 file because i cant download it because i dont have perm off the web for some reason and i dont fancy getting a virus any help would be appreciated thanks

Oh, I'll check it out soon then I personally fixed what's in your signature but sadly enough that cannot be shared, the authors removed that mod long ago :/

Welcome to the forums Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. Mods like this are created by very talented people and the amount of work put into them is enormous. The creator(s) of the mod own the rights to it. Permission could be requested perhaps but I also made a lot of changes to it so that it flies more stable and (currently) it would be too complicated to explain how to use it if it were shared. I made it fly again some pretty while ago by now but had no reason to chat about it. The Bell 407 question pops up regularly so if anyone wonders, yes, it can be fixed but it's quite a job and it cannot be shared without permission from the authors.

 

Dang well I understand i don’t have jbeam to fix the rotors so rip but if u do tell me how I would be happy to atleast try fixing it or do u know how to get in contact with the banned guy?

 

It's really too bad that this masterpiece 'disappeared from the radar' in the first place Can't wrap my brain around it, I just think the makers are too much of perfectionists and didn't approve it themselves anymore ?

You see, there isn't even a place to download it legally anymore so it's hard to give you any advice for now.
It's also been a while ago so I would have to revisit my work to relearn what changes I made to fix it. If you don't have a full working copy of it then there is little use in explaining too. All in all it was quite a chunk of work to get it going again. Maybe a near or distant future.. sigh

 

Yea the version I have only needs the mesh fixing cuz the blades just explode but I'll keep trying when I finally figure out how to fix that

And by the way the resin it disappeared was because the author was banned for talking crap about the staff for some reason

 

Your talking two different things here, the exploding blades have nothing to do with fixing the mesh, and yes the exploding rotor is the first thing to get out of the way, it just don't recall the steps right now, it's rather a while ago.

I don't believe this to be true. If I'm correct two authors are involved in the 407, DrowsySam and Dummiesman. I even revived a mod by DrowsySam before

Surely did, I changed a whole lot of stuff to make that thing work again.
