Log truck sounds promising, but the thing is... What this truck could load? Well, logs but we don`t have props(as far as I know) to do that. So more work to make logs fit in the trailer, load. Also, I really like those light on the visor on 2nd picture.
I just realized that in the picture of the WIP fire truck some pages back (didn’t feel like going looking for the post) the rear crew compartment looks like it could also make a good aftermarket sleeper cab if stretched out a bit. Kind of like sleeper shown below on the TGS (yes I know this is a different truck but you get the idea):
Edit: found the post Where the vertical green line is is where the sleeper would end (back of it) and I also drew a window just as a possibility. Another possibility could just be the normal length crew cab compartment shown with a bed and some storage cabinets along the ceiling instead of seats
Maybe, but it would be super bulky and unwieldy to maneuver. It would have problems driving in tight places and the turning ratio would increase drastically. I think this is a thing we keep on American haulers, where there are mostly long highways and not a lot of truckstops. The only pic of something similar was a MAN TGM with 2 rows of seats, although I don't think this is supposed to be used on a semi chassis. I found some pics of the cab variants on The TGS, but all of them are short. Tried to do some research on the official MAN page, but with no use. I still only found the crew cabs shown on the picture I added: https://www.truck.man.eu/konfigurator/cz/cz/index.html#/ The option for the bigger crew cab was there only for the TGM, and the TGM is not even a semi truck: https://www.truck.man.eu/konfigurator/cz/cz/index.html#/drivers_cab
I see those look to all be stock cabs though. I meant something aftermarket, maybe based off of the expedition truck everyone seems to want, but as a tractor unit. I made a [very rough, quick and honestly sloppy] sketch of what I’m thinking of might look like. Its just a shortened expedition body (vertical red line) on chassis of the same or slightly longer length(horizontal red line), with a fifth wheel (orange) and a possible additional axle and tires crudely drawn by me (grey/black), as well as the option to delete the wheel underlined in yellow. I also outlined in blue how a trailer might go when hitched up to it. Edit: found this picture of stretched sleeper as well.
that truck is MASSIVE. thats kinda why fullsize cabover trucks scare me, they are so tall and upright
is there already a link with updates? because I only have this one from the start page or this is automatic thx
Hi, I might sound stupid but where can i find the latest update to the mod. All i can find is the original files from the 1st post, back on page 1 Thanks
Hello, in case like this, please try searching a few pages back in case someone has been asking the same question (like the post directly above you), and then ask. But no, the mod haven't been updated. Hope you have a great time on the forums!
I think somebody found out that turning up one of sliders in options>audio fixes the issue, can anybody confirm? But there will be reworked fmod sounds in the upcoming update (if it even gets finished) I'm hoping to release the update with fire truck, rollback and few other things sometimes in the upcoming months, but after that the mod might need a complete overhaul.
One more thing I noticed with the engine sounds is that in interior cam, the sound balance shifts to the right once you start driving.. gets a bit annoying.. but since mrcrash said he's reworking the sounds, I guess it'll be fixed!
probably gonna say this like 3 time but will you update these for the new update, they don't seem to be working.
