Why would the derby car need turn signals to be removed?

Glass bits in a demo derby are a bad idea

Edit: Not my local track, but here's a random set of prep rules. This track actually allows a really wide array of cars compared to my local track.

Looks like my wild guess about a new fascia was correct! And also with these new bumers it's looking much more like an Oldsmobile, also speaking of that, there was definitely some inspiration from the Oldsfullsize mod judging by the derby paintjob and the welded hood. I'll DEFINITELY swap all of these derby parts on my crazy Mad Max like configs, this is so cool!

It's something of a safety thing - lights and their associated wiring are an unnecessary safety hazard in the event of a fuel spill. Glass used to be part of the reason they were disallowed, but that's less of a problem for certain eras of car.

And it's good to remove them for another reason - parts at the vulnerable corners of a car are often in high demand at wrecking yards as people patch up minor fender benders. Selling whatever you don't need as part of the demolition derby prep process helps keep costs down.

Plot twist: The Devs sometimes look at Update Speculation for ideas :p

Anyways, I've always kinda loved having derby configs, so this is amazing!

I do like this one! Seems to be in good condition.
Iam just happy we get an old wagon, and which game give you tons of shitboxes nowadays...
Prefer this over a supercar any day!

At the back of my mind something tells me that the Moonhawk might be getting involved with this update (The bumper on the pink LeGran) It would be interesting to see them rework the Moonhawk as well to complete the Bruckell lineup for this update, but I highly doubt it

I expect that thing to be a multi-part update like the D-Series since it's been in game without receiving much attention for so long. That's probably the only vehicle in game that has a chance to compete with the D-Series family for quantity of content.

    That's not a Moonhawk bumper.

The shape is completely different, it's a new bumper. I wonder if it means a facelift/prefacelift of the LeGran, or maybe it will be the Wendover bumper?

Don't think it would be the Wendover bumper, but you never know. This is what one of the bumpers looks like:

It looks like it, I think that like it looks different because of the angle of the camera in the photo

to be honest, I think you're a bit wrong there
if you look at the wendover, no it isn't the wendover bumper, as the wendover is curved, not a solid metal bar
I think its a new moonhawk or legran-prefacelift bumper, or at least it looks like it
the 2 bumpers, the current (moonhawk bumper) and unknown one are pretty similar, and they're both bruckell so it could fit both
but I'm sure 100% it has nothing to do with the wendover
that isn't the wendovers bumper period
    his prediction makes sense

Maybe it's just a reworked Moonhawk bumper then?

I don't think it is a Moonhawk bumper at all, I think it's more likely that it is just the bumper for the Legran's facelift.

Nah, you don't notice it, but there is a bend in that bumper. Look at the shading.
