Experimental KissMP - new multiplayer mod for BeamNG.drive

After trying a while i have no clue how i can enable it so my friend can join my server im also not too sure what my friend has to do so he can join my server. Does he need to put in my IP adress? Or does the server have its own? If it has its own where do i find it?

 

Go to https://www.whatsmyip.de/ and give your friend the ip address that's being displayed.
If he can't join, you'll have to port-forward your server port. It's cited in the server settings.

I found this file in my user folder. Does anyone know what it is/does?

 

It saves your ip address, your settings, your name and your player id.

 

Ok so i was kinda able to get my server to show in the server list, but neither my friend or I could join it. if i tried it told me bridge wasnt running, even though both bridge and server were running

 

When I try to join my Server connect goes orange for a few seconds and then goes back to gray and nothing happens. To other servers I can join just fine. Somebody knows a fix?

 

One question...can this mode works on cracked version of game?

 

Yes, although I suggest you buy the game instead of risking an infection of your system and disrespecting the developers while doing so.

 

I am planning to set up my own server to play with my friends, and I was wondering how to add mods, Could somebody please post a guide of some kind to this thread?

 

When you first run the server.exe, there should be a "mods" folder generated in the same folder. Drop your mods in there and it should work.

I ran server.exe as daddelzeit recommended, and i ntoticed that there was an addons folder as well. Is this something I should leave alone?

 

If you don't have any script mods/server mods (for commands etc.), yes.
