Yes and there are quite a few 3 wheel trucks in the kei regulations. So its still a Kei car

Yes, there will be custom wheels, however not very many, at least not at launch. There will be five wheels at 3-4 different sizes at launch.

I haven't crashed it too much. It isn't too bad at the moment. I haven't adjusted the jbeam yet but it really isn't all that far off either.

I am not sure how much horsepower the base models will be, however the sport models will indeed be ~63hp and within 660cc. (The Sport RS will also be within 660cc, however it might be 63whp like how all sports cars in japan were 276hp in the 90s but they fudged numbers a little and it ended up being 276whp...).

    Probably.

Lol! There is already an LS with a blower going into it don't give me any other ideas! :D

I may be wrong but I thought you could drive them on a motorcycle license. As far as I've looked, you have to be over 21, but that's the UK so I would've thought rules differ

Man that would be pretty cool! I remember a classic Pigeon mod from ages ago. It could be like that but modified :)

if you feel up to it sometime, a round, cutesy facelift for base or less sportier models would be neat, like what daihatsu does with the current copen
    Daihatsu_Copen_Cero.jpg Daihatsu_Copen_Robe.jpg
it'd probably look something like this:
    Cast_2015_1.jpg
...or like this god forsaken abomination:

Alright everyone, it has been a while and I finally have an update!

    Update:
This is the Hirochi Hakone Sport model(there is no Prevost Sport pictures just yet, I'll talk about that in a minute):

The sport model has a more aggressive wider stance in the front and the rear. It has a full diffuser with dual exhaust and dual tips. Fender vents. Headlight sidevents. It will also feature a turbocharged or NA flat 4 at 658cc making 63BHP.

This is the Hirochi Hakone Sport RS model:

The Sport RS includes the same width(the widest a kei car can legally be), but the doors are wider too. This car will feature a turbocharged 658cc flat four making 63WHP to all four wheels. This also includes a slightly redesigned front bumper with an intake to scoop through the front and out of the hood vent. The RS model also includes a center exit tri-tip exhaust.

    Cherrier Prevost Update:
This car is dead... Or at least what you know it as...

Okay, enough, this is a WIP of what the NEW Prevost will probably look like:

    What do you think?

I got to say, that new Cherrier Prevost with an Volkswagen ''I.D'' type of front is very VERY interesting!

not a fan of the new fascia, its a carbon copy of the vw id1 and it doesn’t feel french or even japanese
it could work if you removed the big centre logo, that’d make the floating headlights look more interesting
i’ll edit it in ps sometime soon to show what i mean

I like the new look of the Prevost making it different makes it look better in my opinion, if you can you should also do your own tail lights.
    Maybe something like these?

The whole idea is to tie it into the cherrier brand, hence why sharing a rear fascia makes sense

Looks like the ID3 front! Awesome car man, absolutely can't wait for it. Will the ID3 front be on the electric version? :)
    --- Post updated ---
Yeah that's true, maybe replace it with a continuous line and the Cherrier badge below that

ok so i really do like the new front end, but as said before, it doesnt really fit those brands too well.
Maybe for an electric version it would look good, or if you want to make some etk thingy with a range extender like the i3

    Thanks!

It actually was never supposed to be an exact copy. I just modelled the bumper and headlights from the blueprints and then I was going to start making modifications to its looks. It does look VERY German right now though doesn't it?

While it would be awesome to just go crazy and design something completely different, I think it would lose its branding and end up being more ETK.

Thank you! The VW style front end will hopefully be for all Prevost models.

I know it doesn't really fit French, I'm trying to work on that. The problem is that I am having trouble finding a modern French car to go off of but most of them are just sooo ugly...

    Update:
So, going back to styling and trying to un-German and Frenchify the front end. I tried a few different things and I don't know which is best. (All of these are rough WIP models and would be properly smoothed)

Option 1: All I did was remove those black grilles, smooth everything over, and made the logo smaller.

Option 2: I like some of the styling of Tesla vehicles and tried out their grille style

Option 3: Then, I found a modern French car worth mentioning. The Renault Zoe RS. (What is with Renault and the huge logo and cutout for the logo?)

Option 4: I then wondered what option 2 and 3 would look like morphed together, here is that...
