This is the Mercedes-Isdera Imperator, perhaps the German answer to the Vector W8. If I were designing a 1985 Civetta Fulmine, it would be basically one of these with a supercharged V10 and scissor doors in the place of the gullwings. There would be an assortment of different body panels to choose from, getting progressively more vents as its 10-year production run went on.
v10? in the 80's? the first production V10 in a car other than the chrysler magnum and ford triton was the Audi/Lamborghini 5.2, which came out in 2003. and plus, that body shape is older than the bolide's, it's got much more of a late 70's appearance. perhaps if it were some flagship alongside the cheaper bolide it could work, but even then it should probably at least have a V12.
