Im currently trying to create a semi trailer more compatible with the crd mod but all I have is the 3d model I dont know how to add textures and how to jbeam, Ive tried watching tutorials but I still dont understand.

Is someone willing to help me do the dredded jbeams and textures for me? I would be greatly appreciated since Ive been sitting on this for months with no progress.

I'd love to also help, but I don't even know how to make anything for this game. I'd love to see a Randolph moving trailer in the future. I hope you find help though, it looks very good so far!

 

Looks like that's based off of the already in-game Dryvan Trailer, as looking to the mesh names. Its actually pretty easy to get it in game as it is just a modification to an already in-game product, you just have to yeet over the jbeam files from the original dryvan trailer, and than edit the jbeam from that into where it fits the model, so it won't have odd collisions. Materials you can just drag over easy enough.

I can help if you had trouble understanding or doing something.

Ive sorta ditched it.... Ive had a few people help me but they have since stopped replying so Im starting to think that it will never be complete....

 

Well I could help you along the way of getting it into game, as it should be simple enough.

This looks cool! It would be nice to have a moving trailer like this in game, both regular moving and this truck transporter. The only real difference is that vehicle transport versions have the back door as a ramp instead of regular doors. I would offer help if I had any modding skills, but i'll admit that I don't. I will still give you some tips though- you can use the existing dryvan loading ramp as a basis for the back door ramp of this trailer. Based on your screenshots, it looks like you did just that and made it taller to fit the height of the trailer. If you decide make a non-vehicle transport version, you'll just need to make the normal doors taller as well. You can also probablty get away with using the textures of the stock dryvan. Also as an FYI, many vehicle transport trailers (but not necessarily all) have side access doors, as do normal moving trailers.

 

You can send the blend file or dae file in PM's, and I'll get it into game and send it back over as a zip, so you can release it on the repo as you like.

 

I know you diched this but I think this is a great Idea, I would personally like to continue working on your mod If that's fine with you.

This looks good the way it is... But I have a cool idea. If you want ALL the downloads... I think you should make the trailer higher and add a lift so it can fit 4 instead of 2. Like it?
