There has recently been moments during my gameplay with BeamNG.Drive where the FPS all of a sudden goes from 40-60 frames all the way down to 10-30 frames. What could be causing this? Sometimes the lagging lasts for a period of time before the FPS returns to 40-60 frames, or it lasts for the entire time before closing the game.
The front driveshaft on D-series offroad frames starts spinning back and forth on its own, if you have an automatic transmission in gear and stand on breaks while idling. The speedometer will also jump between 1 and 3 kph, even though you are not moving an inch. Tested in safe mode to make sure it's not a mod issue.
Sounds like there is an issue with the graphics card. What are your computer's specs? (mainly: CPU, RAM, GPU)? What is the Graphics settings you are using (in the game options menu)? Have you tried safe mode?
Could that be the reason why saving a config takes so long when you already have many configs? Or is it unrelated?
"Ah it's those painful eagle eyes" Nah, don't think so, I was actually looking for something else when stumbled upon. This function doesn't seems to be called in the same lua file so probably is used by another one. I think it's got to do with the pie menu and the save/load vehicle feature being temporarily/permanently disabled. Anyhow I think it doesn't even harms when stated twice as a table key (that's what 'M.a certain word' is) but I'm not sure.
Not a bug per se, but it bugs me (ba-dum tss) This little warehouse lot by by the turbo burger intersection doesn't have a indent in the curb for the entrance, so unless you're using a car with high ground clearance, it's pretty easy to rip off your bumper or, in some cases, beach the car.
Yo it would be nice if we could fix the bug where ESC gets stuck in turns, rendering most modern cars in BeamNG unusable
Regarding my post above : Don't know if mentioned in any update log but this seems to be working again. It does act a little strange when pressing the home button after the saved vehicle state is loaded. (car spawns somewhere in the air)
It has been working for quite a while now, as far as I remember they added it back shortly after they removed it
Is there a known issue with RTX 3070? My game is running at about 48fps in West Coast USA at max settings and 1 car. GPU use is only at 40% and CPU is at 45% so neither is bottlenecking here.
I have an RTX3000 mobile graphics card and I also noticed lower performance in general, even with the graphics turned to the "low" setting I'm still getting way below 60fps on most maps. I used to get better performance before.
Some times when i am in window mode and change map and then go full screen(alt-enter) the light get's dark. If i go back to window mode the light go back to normal. I have to re-start the game for the ''bug'' to go away.
