Yo dude, awesome to see you here in beam, been using your tires for a while now! This makes me miss the spintires/mudrunner mods from you and the other guys lol!
have you any thoughts on making a C-notched frame for the D-series? I've looked, theres nothing, i would love to build some legit body laying low trucks, but the rear axle hits the frame, please, someone lol. C-notches!
i have like almost all your mods for mudrunner and I was wondering if we would ever see those maybe imported to this game when you get better at modding for this game of course as you said little things to start
Awesome work. Looks great in game! I also dont even get a second thought to running your tires over the base game tires. Same with the wheels!
Thats the plan to get a full mod in game but I'm not quite ready. --- Post updated --- Thanks brother, I'm working on some other things for the pack like getting a bobbed frame for the 4 door cab but I can't get it to work right yet.
Hi and thanks for the mod i have one small problem (maybe its on my end) Edit: i also can't find the spare tire. (i removed al other mods and cleared cache)
Yeah, I had the same issue too. Both the spare tires and the fuel cells don't work/don't appear on the vehicle parts selector.
Weird, I'm not sure if that is the mod or something on your end, I will have to take a look at it when I get off work. Also there is no spare tire for the bobbed ext. frame because it won't fit with the fuel tanks.
It's on my end for some reason the roof lights are set back on the ext. cab body, I will fix it. Thanks for finding that brother. --- Post updated --- Are you talking about the bobbed ext. frame? the spare tire wont fit on the bobbed ext. frame because of the fuel tanks, the fuel tanks work.
Yeah, I don't doubt that at all! The stuff you have published currently is really high quality, as any other Nix mod. So it seems like you are getting the hang of it! So maybe this is a dumb question (and it is totally wrong place to ask it at least lol) as it seems like you are very focused at beamng atm. But have you considered modding snowrunner? I really think it has the potential to be awesome with your level of quality mods. There's nothing there now that can match what you guys did in ST and mudrunner...
Not sure if I will mod Snowrunner, I think Beam has more potential, Snowrunner I feel went more Farm sim then off road sim.
I see what you mean there... But that is the campaign, and we never really cared about the "campaign" (aka logging) in spintires or mudrunner anyways. So if you use it like mudrunner or spintires I really think there will be way more possibilitys and potential in snowrunner than the previous games. And there are no games Imho that can match the offroad physics in snowrunner. Not to talk down beamng at all, I really enjoy beam too, but for other reasons. But hey, I'm not going to try to persuade you to anything of course, but if you miss the trailing in mudrunner I think you will enjoy snowrunner more and with your mods it would be waaaay better. Thanks to the map making tutorial you made I managed to make my own map in mudrunner, and really enjoyed making it (but now I can't make it to work ingame though lol) and I would try to make maps for snowrunner too if I wasn't going to the military in a couple of weeks
We will see, I really would like to build a map for Beam, I'm trying to get WM and Gabe in on building some trail maps, this game is lacking in crawling for sure.
Oooo! That would be cool too. Yeah, there aren't many crawling maps that are both good and good looking here. So definitely not a bad idea. Seems like you are really in to Beam now, so I'm not going to whine more about snowrunner (for now haha). All in all I think its really awesome to see your content in a game that I enjoy myself! And have been for so many years!
I always find i am more happy for new offroad maps than anything, there isn't many of us that make them, happy to help or team up if you want to make some. Also loving your mods so far
