    A meshslap is putting a 3d model of a car body onto a jbeam that doesn't really fit it, resulting in a vehicle that doesn't fit well in the game's aesthetic and deforms into a sea urchin the second you tap a wall.

    An automation car is a relatively-custom car design with a well fitting jbeam and more accurate handling and deformation characteristics, though still not near the level of detail as a fully custom scratch-made vehicle.

    The two are not the same.

    Breaking News!
    Some ETK Motorsports executives were arrested this afternoon at 3:35 pm. The arrested, Jonas Krueger, Mark Offermann and Ludwig Lazzner were arrested for fraud, criminal association and attempted extortion to a client, who immediately reported the fact to the Berlin police. The president of ETK, Mike Haffburg, distanced himself, and stated that he was not aware of what happened. The 3 were sentenced to 6 years in prison
