It is called austrian dragstrip, but I don't think it is available in single player. It is still being worked on actively by the server owner, no working timing/lights on the mud, sand, or no prep strips yet.
I know this is more about record chasing with just a frame and an engine, but I think realistic builds are more fun. Makes me want to start a no prep thread 8) Vanilla Grand Marshall, no mods. And no messing with the environment sliders either 8.267 @ 166.86 Maxed 5.5L with a 670 shot of nitrous Small tire, 28x10R15 3600lb @ 53/47 Race suspension, hardly tuned The 700 horsepower shot of nitrous is a bit ridiculous, but it's only a 335CI where most nitrous cars are at 400CI or bigger. It's about equal, making 1000 wheel horsepower or so.
Tuning cars with only vanilla mods is fun! (well except the part that most cars dont have drag transmissions) Marshall can make around 1500hp without breaking, also try to lower the rear suspension and raise the front so u wont wheelie
I'm not against modding, I just don't like playing with 1500hp turbo cars that have 1000hp shot of nitrous and all the panels/glass removed. I wouldn't mind making a turbo car, but I'm having issues with mods for some reason. Vanilla BeamNG runs fine, add a few mods and it crashes my whole computer after 20 minutes The car is just about where I want it. More power in the form of an 8-10 liter engine would be nice, so I could use less nitrous. Ideally it would be a no prep car, so a wheelie on the track is fine. It only does a big wheelie like the picture if I launch on nitrous. On a record chasing setup, it runs mid 7s with the only changes being more power and tire. I just did some testing. Anyone notice how tire pressure makes no difference? Ran the same setup at 10 psi and 50 psi and the time was the same.
As that car is so damn fat, tire pressure doesn't need to be low for more grip. For FWD cars, it's a different story.
3600 is pretty light weight for a four door street car, it's actually 100lb or so heavier than the minimum weight for most applicable street race classes. A notchback foxbody probably weighs in at 3000lb. I don't see any way you could launch 1000 rwhp at 50 psi tire pressure and not be doing a smokey burnout all the way down the track.
2.783@642.50 JATO Mods Used:1995 Ibishu Kashira (gen 2), Better drag wheels\/Tir, Meo's drag parts pack. Unfortunatly I don't remember is this JATO included in ibishu kashira mod or not. Anyway it's the best time on this strip ever, right?
