    So, I decided I'd like to make a cheap, shitty, car. I don't have a large amount of progress, but it's a start.

    my general opinion: they arent THAT bad,they do have some interestingness,its different than them ugly 1990s tauruses that we see everyday thats for shure
    and yes,i somewhat like lada niva

    Here on the west coast of Canada we had a bunch of Lada dealerships spring up. We even had a Skoda dealership! This was the 80s to mid 90s. I think Hyundai overtook them with the Pony and Stellar, and the dealerships disappeared. There are still die hards keeping Nivas alive but they each tend to have a hoard of 3 or 4 spare parts cars!

    That Chaika was built until 1981 so while those cars weren't necessarily bad, they were horribly outdated :)

    I'm pretty sure they reviewed this car on Top Gear and it was a complete piece of shit. It looks pretty nice though.

    They reviewed the model in the background (GAZ M13 Chaika), I laughed my ass off when the buttons in the copied push-button transmission fell into the dashboard
