    I downloaded yesterday, and I wasn't able to find a server with any people on it. Was playing at around 7pm GMT. Is this a bug, or does this mod not have many users?

    next time, look at the discord, at the top of the channels it says how many people are on.

    We usually have a few servers with 5-10 people. But we do have periods of time when no one is playing, mod isn't that popular yet

    if i was having my friend join a private server i create. how would he find it and where would he put the information like IP or whatever he needs to let him connect?

    Somewhat related to buggy usercounts, disconnecting didn't seem to always actually disconnect me, my car remained on the server and I was still counted in the user count. I don't remember what exactly I did but there ended up being 3 kosshis at the same server once. Restarting the bridge cleared them up.

    Also, after people configure and change their vehicles dozen times, my framerate absolutely tanks and I have restart the game. Am I the only one with a issue like this?
    But, what do you have in mind for helping with config lag? Enforcing auto-apply to off in MP and adding a friendly popup telling new users to be mindful about this could help some.

    Honestly it'd be nice if the BeamNG devs could help us out in any little way they can. Not like the engine wouldn't benefit from some heavy handed optimization, it's pretty awful to use sometimes. The UI is heavier than the physics!

    Can you setup your own private server? i tried to make one but couldn't see it

    Open 'config.json' and make sure this setting is set to like this:
    "show_in_server_list": true

    Also make sure, that you have open port in FW.

    do you mean like when you disconnect from a server the cars go to traffic? I’m confused.

    Are you using 1.1 or 1.2? We've fixed that in 1.2

    I remember you talking about spawning in AI cars on the server but never really understood what you were trying to do. Did you ever figure out what was going on?

    I can spawn traffic AI and that cars drived around the map. But seems only I can see that cars. But for my side your have collisions with them. (but you drive like no coll for you (with damaged car, how I saw it))

    way easier to install and launch than BeamMP, but was pretty laggy (30-something fps in multiplayer vs 40-60 fps with 5 vehicles and 2 trailers in normal game.) before my fast but unstable internet fell through and dropped me from the server after a minute or so. also, immediately after joining, I spawned inside another user’s vehicle. overall, okay, but has many lag spikes for some reason.
