Cool, thanks for letting me know. As for the Humble Bundle thing, I've heard there's a simple and easy solution. I also decided to double-check on what you said about BeamMP having a paywall, and from what I've heard: The only thing that Patreon members get is early access to new untested features (if any) and the servers files; the client-side stuff is open-source. I've also been told that the guys have been working on releasing free server files eventually, and they're constantly improving on their lag prediction, which has already been out for a while.
This one is quite different. For one, it's open-source. I think this one doesn't charge money to host a server.
I mean if there is no competition its inevitable for the 1 lone mod to get lazy and anyways, for some people kissmp is preferred
If you have paid for the regular public BeamMP then im sorry but you've probably been scammed, you have never had to pay to play BeamMP unless you have supported the project on patreon and gotten early access to beta builds, the patreon was made before betas where a thing and the mp devs wanted to give something back to those who supported the project aka early access releases. and afaik everything from patreon is going back into the project for running the official servers and backend etc Right now the only "exception" is server hosting, then again because it's beta, but servers are soon going public and have been very actively worked on by the MPdevs lately to get them out to everyone for free, and arguably been worked on even harder now that there is some competition around haha I tried kissMP and there are definitely some things that i liked about it like the ping being shown in the player list etc, however at this state i wouldn't say it's smoother, at least not if you go faster than 150kmh or someone is recovering their car, although i did have over 150ms ping tbf, and idk if it was just broken or something but the ping compensation i couldn't tell if was there or not? I was terrified doing overtakes cause i had no idea when i was about to take out or being taken out by other players because of latency, however im sure those things will be ironed out eventually, and it is the first release after all, and it's not like beamMP is perfect either, we currently have the invisible players bug as well as the occasional broken servers, then again. beta But im not sure what people mean about beamMP being laggy? Ever since the optimization and prediction update a while back its been running really well for me at least Either way i think a healthy competition is not a bad thing if it can push each other further, that's for sure, And just in case anyone was wondering since i am a support guy in their discord (maybe not the most active tbh) but no i have not been told to write any of this, i just though i would correct some miss information about it being paid for everything as it may come out like that from the first quote, but i may have got a bit carried away haha
Yes. You can use the mod. There's a guide in the main post which explains how to install it and use it.
Also for the record, I talked with Titch shortly after release. We've both agreed that we have our own goals, and that nobody should be creating drama over each others mods.
Hi there! I just came across a problem. Yesterday, I tested this mod on my PC, and it worked fine. Just now, I tried starting the game again, and it gives me the error: 'BeamNG has exited unexpectedly. 0xC0000374 - STATUS_HEAP_CORRUPTION' before making it to the main menu. The error code when copied is as follows: BeamNG.drive 0.20.2.0 0xC0000374 STATUS_HEAP_CORRUPTION I've been able to establish it's the KISSMultiplayer.zip file in my mods folder that is, at least partially, the problem - as the game runs fine without it. As such, I'm posting this here, and not contacting the developers of the game. Yet, anyway. I'm on Windows 10, 16G RAM, 4,3-ish GHz processor, other specifications I can't list by heart right now. All I know is that this PC can run Beam without any issues. Any ideas?

This is why i didnt get beammp, most of the user are stuck up, and the discord makes it hard to download. I feel like they made it look like it was for everybody but in reality it was for themselves. Making people have to pay for something makes them not want to, but giving it to them for free will lighten them up and make them want to donate or do something nice for you Thank you kissmp creators for making this free to access
Also the physical beammp program itself isn’t that good anyways, it stutters and freezes like every 10 seconds and you get like 10 fps also this dude has so much salty mans could be the Pacific Ocean.
