I was wondering what people do in BeamNG.Drive as there are so many possibilities, maybe I am missing out on some? So, what do you do when you open the game? Do you cruise around on maps, do police chases, complete scenarios (which scenarios?), bus routes, campaigns, light runner, offroading, modding (?), ... ? Please let me know Thank you!
I tend to either cruise with normal traffic or play a 3v1 game of cops and robbers (Im not allowed to view their cars)
I have a imaginary Hoonigan x West Coast Customs thing and I get as much as mods as possible and make REALLY nice looking configurations.
I just like get my car out, tune it to a sleeper, save it, load the 'American Road' map, spawn some traffic and just cruise around.
Idk, maybe he just wanted to be on the forums, but didn't write anything, then remembered he had the game, so he wants to know what to do. I don't know, I may be wrong. I had the game WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY before I made my account, so this might be vice-versa.
I've had this account since I got the game. I just wanted to know what others were doing, what the "normal" BeamNG gameplay is.
well I mean there are mapped scenarios, you can make crash videos with script ai and stuff, crash around, modding (although it won't be pleasant because of current forum atmosphere)
ah ok. --- Post updated --- Don't try to make ANY mods, because your forum will be deleted because some asshole decided it was a good idea to spam "oH wHen ReLez?111", @ClassicMike will destroy your motivation, people are gonna start begging, and then it's gonna become FW4 (Flame War 4)
I make custom configurations for cars, sometimes based on weird or cool cars I've seen irl or in the Internet and sometimes I just remake a config from a mod using a modded vanilla car (vehicle mods get broken with updates more often than stuff like this), or just random configs that come to my mind. The best cars for this are the D-Series, Roamer (with parts from the Beamic Park mod), Kashira (gen 2), Gavril Vertex and all cars from the Oldsfullsize addon. I also chase randomly chosen cars with police cars, I have an Excel sheet which shows which police cars should be fast enough for which kind of car (I have a lot of police cars thanks to many mods for them). When I'm bored during lectures I do the West Coast drag racing or I crash JATO cars at high speed with 10× or 100× slow motion, my favorites to crash are my custom ultra fast configurations of the Kashira, Gavril Vertex and the Wentward with the super rockets from WBIMP. Sometimes I also jump many cars from different years on the Car Jump Arena with various obstacles trying to figure out if old cars do better than new cars on a certain obstacle. Or I place obstacles like spinners and truck trailers on the CrashHard 2.0 map on the Downhill Madness and try to make it all the way down, if I crash I have to change the car to another randomly chosen one. The last thing I do is work on my own mod, it's a map which is not even 0.1% done, I haven't finished editing the terrain but I have everything planned what will be where, I even have a map of the map ready that shows what is where. Currently it's just a massive area full of sand, 3 mountains and 1 really short bumpy road.
um weren't you the one the get super offended about a clearly satire copypasta on a mod's thread and then started a couple of fights, the last one leading to a lock that is still in place to this day because the author lost motivation and wanted it locked the creator is literally friends with mike too if you were there, you would know that if you didn't get offended at a copypasta and start crying wolf the thread could be in a functioning state today this really isn't the place to call someone out for demotivating an author nor is it your place to do it either
