Havent been playing the game recently mostly because of slight burnout sadly (yeah I got it for the game at the moment) but I have been helping out on development of a mod for another game, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and the A32NX mod on there and trying my best to understand it and I got that game back in August and so far logged 278.6 hours on the game in the past 2 months.

But I cant understand why it would install on my SSD so I am looking at NVMe upgrades for my system and a 30 series card as well, so in total about £1000 worth of upgrades, I am thinking about a 3080 card for me but as for the NVMe, 2TB Seagate 970 Evo Plus, so yeah, lot to consider and a lot to save up to its just life for me that I need to save everything up for it and depending on what I do and with the way the world is I dont think I will be going to many movies over the next few months so I can save up a bit

As for the Burnout its just natural, before I had BeamNG and stuff like that, I had FSX and finally now after some 14 years of waiting, I have a chance to fly again so I have been putting hours into the game too which is quite good for me, I really enjoy it and it makes me proud to know my skills I learned when I was 15 are still sharp as they were now, and I have been using actual flight charts and stuff to do flying correctly I like that, with the MSFS I can take real world charts into the game and use them to fly, that is something special and I am glad I have the game (even though its the standard edition at 95GB rather than 150GB for the Premium Deluxe version apparently)

and it hurts when you have to sell it, especially if you thought something was wrong with it only to be proven wrong by the guy who just bought it off you for less than half the price you bought it at, that really hurts. Like a divorce then haha

Pfft, my Cherokee has 224,171 miles (360768 Km) on the clock, and I still treat it like shit. I haven't changed the engine oil on it since like two years ago at ~217K miles, and I'm constantly ripping burnouts and banging limiter with it...

you are just barely ahead of me
i have no idea what number owner i am, however i do know my car was beat to shit because it was raced and driven hard by a high school kid as its previous owner. it shows.
however it does have new rotors and calipers and pads, and some new mechanical bits.
im not ballsy enough to slam gears and redline it lole

I believe I introduced my car to >3000 RPMs. I maintain it quite well though. Yesterday I replaced the coolant level sensor and the blower motor resistor when it broke while testing the new sensor on a drive. 20201011_165009.jpg

Question: are you harder on the car in real life or in BeamNG?
(question directed towards anyone who is willing to type a response)

Good God you all remind me of my grandfather's Lada 2109 samara. He was also treating that thing like a shit, driving with a ripped belt, not even adding oil for thousands of kilometers, yet that thing still managed to go pass 500k Kms mark. Now it's sold and being driven by a relatively young adult in the countryside:D

I now feel like a lightweight with a 177k mile car. I recently redid a lot of the injection system and looked over the top end, which legitimately looks perfect.

The M30 is very robust engine if you maintain it at all. I do occasionally rev it out, but very rarely beyond 5500. Not that it makes any power above that, despite revving to 6700.
