I do have my mind set on an rx550 4gb which would be enough for most of my needs..... My laptop has 1gb of gddr3 AMD Radeon 7610m.. and gridma0 gives me 30fps at low barely.. xp I'm kinda used to low or no fps..
I think that EVGA's Midweek Madness is only for USA and Canada. SKB is from India. Or atleast has on his profile that he's from India. I think If he has around 80 dollars for a gpu, i think he can find an used 1050ti for that price.
I am planning on getting an amd rx550 in a while anyway.. this gt710 is surprisingly ok for some of the games I play, Beam, ETS2, Fernbus, etc, and a few old nfs titles... And I can overclock it a bit so it ain't terrible.. 2 gigs of Vram is still pretty good even today.. I dont mind low graphics anyway... Heck even watchdog's 1 works in High.. lol
Would it be possible to get slightly more downward travel in the road height suspension? With the combination of stiff suspension and rigid chassis, the lack of downward suspension travel leaves it with zero grip on any dips or bumpy surfaces. This is mostly solved by having the diff locks on constantly so it doesn't spin up a wheel the moment it lifts off the ground. In the example pictured in 8x4 config, to emphasise the problem, it cannot get over the lip of the ramp even with diff locks on since the rear wheels are barely touching the ground due to poor wheel travel.
I'd say the main problem in that specific case is weight distribution. Front axles carry most of the weight while there is almost no load on the rear. And keep in mind the crane itself has about 3 tons.
I did use that as a rather extreme example, after messing about with it some more I think rather than limited suspension travel it may be more that the anti roll stiffness at the rear is a little too strong so it will lift the opposite wheel far too easily. (Only notable on configs with 3+ axles of course) Excuse the terrible screenshot as I'm on my phone but you can see (with diff locks off I know) on this small bend/incline it lifts the outside wheel and can't get up the hill. All I'm trying to say is that when the road is not perfectly smooth traction can be a real issue unless you drive everywhere with diff locks on. This is only intended as constructive criticism, even though it sounds a bit picky/argumentative. This has to be one of the best standalone mods for this game, incredible detail and a huge range of variations/upfits and chassis layouts so it's easy to see how much work has gone into it so far. Super excited for you to release the rollback/tow truck, keep it up
Man! The mod is best! You are working hard! I love to see the new update! I'm ready for the new update! Keep working and have an great day!! --- Post updated --- Suggestion: Adding new configuration like on the 1st picture. Adding Camper configuration like on the 2nd picture.
Hi MRcrash. When comes the new Update to this nice Mod? And can you make a Scania Truck like this in the Thumbnail?
There is already Scania truck mod. https://www.beamng.com/resources/8x8-heavy-utility-truck.17/ https://www.beamng.com/resources/semi-euro-truck.2318/
Yes, it is a scania, but a very outdated one. It still works, it's just not worth downloading anymore.
