goodness man, its no longer ending here if you are going to be rude about it. i never had any intention of asking in a "self righteous" tone. that wasnt my goal. if anything, id like to assist him in style but im not too sure how to go about that why so aggressive? Im not one to shit on people because they are not as good at me at something. hell im full willing to admit that a lot of the modeling that gets done in WBIMP is done by other talented individuals ive learned to respect and gained a friendship with. sorry if it came off that way though- please step down from your soapbox, i do not want to start anything extra i need to deal with today. Good ol' American power (only modifications were the tow hitch and radiator) --- Post updated --- ...just under 14 tons at 50 mph up a 4° grade
Lmao I am not on a soapbox whatsoever, I'm just trying to defend the poor autistic kid that seems to be the laughing stock of the forums all too often. Whether it was your intent or not, saying "its overall a very low detail automation mod..." comes off as pretty rude about something that Grind likely spend a good chunk of time working on. I didn't mean to sound rude myself either, but to you apparently I did. See the effect of perception?
Yes, though a lot of it is actually justified. Anyways. There's valid arguments on both sides of this. Kueso, I get that you're trying to help me. Like I said, I might update the mod soon after it gets released. I also have a map mod and while most of my mods are Automation. This is the exception to all of those Automation mods I made. Also, progress is slow as hell. I had to get a user to help with the file stuff related to the map, cause there was absolutely no way in hell I could get that done on my own. Anyways, I guess we'll end this now. Here's the link to that mod I mentioned, btw. https://www.beamng.com/threads/east-coast-usa-grind86-edition.73768/ OT: Again, I think you and Kueso both make valid points. That's my personal thoughts on it. Trying to be fair here, lol.
Little known fact (because i try to not make it a big deal), but i have autism also. (severe aspergers) im on the spectrum quite badly. so differentiating me and grind from the general population is a bit- demeaning (at least to me, maybe i shouldnt speak for him.). my rather poor communication in the moment was totally my bad and im sorry. I do see the effect of perception, and i took you the wrong way, i get defensive much too quick. thank you for joining in, having your opinion is appreciated. OT:
Up from the dead it rises, the one everyone presumed dead and had long forgotten. Who would have guessed it is what remains of what once was.
ffs you guys are some of the most easily offended people i've seen. just because someone is seen as "rude" (which they weren't in the first place but whatever) to you doesn't mean you should start a tangent on why their opinion is wrong and should be changed shut up, deal with it and go play beamng to cool off
I don't know how I differentiated you guys from the "general population." If anyone does that, it's the people who poke fun at Grind that are "demeaning" in that way. Whether he had autism or not, I would've said something because I perceived what you initially said as rude to him.
(it's a gif, click it! ) (and yes I get rid of my face mask because the pandemic is basically ending here lol) OT:wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
