Update Speculation thread

On another note, we haven't had had any teasers in quite some time, I think the more open approach the devs had in the past year was quite good....

 

maybe their going to surprise bomb us with all sorts of teasers

 

The other 2 cars are not modded at all so im pretty sure that wheel + bodykit is a base game thing, the facelifted Roamer still doesnt have a RoadSport trim and that one is identical to the pre facelift RoadSport bodykit, maybe the wheels are a mod im not that convinced about that but they look cool asf

oh jesus that poor buick, one hell of a a way to ruin a car. Though that '66 Galaxie (or is it a County Squire ?) is an interesting concept, actually looks cool. Hey theres an idea for the Bluebuck wagon...

 

I'd hate to derail this thread momentarially, but god damn that Country Squire is just incredible.

OT: I think the thing I'm most surprised about recently is the fact that there's been no new teasers for the D-series Superpig/pre-runner. It seemed that it was nearing completion, and then all of the sudden, nothing. I'd think it would be released soon in a minor update, but maybe the devs are holding off to drop it in the upcoming major update instead?

 

actually is it about time that its the end of the three month period between updates or is my internal clock out of wack again ?

 

Actually, surprisingly, it'll only have been two months since update 0.20.0 on October 6th. It just seems like it's been longer since 0.20.0 was a relatively small update.

 

agree with other dude, plus last updates had ~4 month interval

I wish it were true I would love the RS facelift but i doubt it isn't a mod.

The car would have 2 license plate slots and the sports cladding clips with the face lift fenders.

here's a bit of speculation: with the wendover being worked on, and the possibility of the bolide and (some) legran reworking being released in either .21 or .22, i wonder if they will also continue the 80's theme with some more powerglow content? I personally would like to see a wendover powerglow config, and perhaps a few more vehicles.
I'd imagine another "background map" other than glow city, (perhaps some canyons or a flat desert area) would also be a welcome addition.

 

Possible. Imagine, this next update is going to be very big ( or the next few updates): Jungle Rock Island revamp + Wendower + Water sounds + Gavril interior revamp :O

 

Hell maybe even another surprise car, those have been happening every few updates for a while now, i doubt but it certainly possible

hell yes. But no they had USA 1960 and 61 XK Coupes . And a HR coupe will be SWEEEEEEEEET.

OT I cant wait for the Wendova, Even a pic of it in game. There was a Good photo shop of it.

oh so their Tuesday is our Wednesday, intermeresting. The HR would have been nice but i think they should've gotten rid of the B pillar, if it had happened of course. If i ever do get an XK (good value for money there) first thing i'll be doing is tearing off that roof and the rear doors and will put an XM hardtop roofline and maybe an XP dash, also will extend the front doors to match the new hardtop body, goddamn i can just see that. Hell i'll even chuck in a 221 v8 for that sweet sound. Hey thats an idea, anyone know their way around the Miramar ?
