No engine smoke from ETK I series?

As the title suggests I'm not getting any engine smoke from the ETK I series, even when particulates are set to an absurd number in the jbeam file. Smoke works on all other cars and the issue persists with safe mode enabled. Any ideas?

 

What type of smoke? Overheating, radiator damage, piston rings, cold engine, oil starvation?

 

The black/grey smoke when you rev the engine. Cold engine, oil starvation etc works fine

 

There shouldn't be black smoke, its not a diesel or an old engine. Its a modern gasoline engine, so there shouldn't be smoke.
