The Beamng team should make a whole new car based off a German luxury car in real life. (Mercedes S-Class, Audi A8/S8, BMW 7 Series etc.)
They should just work on a update that would take them a year. this is what they should do over the MEGA UPDATE: 1. At least 1 new car for every single brand 2. remodeled cars (this would go very well with WBIMP) 3. MANY more tuner parts (would like to see full offroad and ricer kits for all the cars (yes even t series) 4. remade default gridmap (the one with the sky curve and stuff) 5. n e w s u p e r c a r 6. smarter traffic 7. add the ability to put whatever engine you want in a Beam-Made car (like engine swap the piccolina with a D series V8) and when it gets selected a automatic engine bay modification would be placed 8. last but not least, something I actually think might be fun. Add a feature where cars that have radios have the ability to actually play songs (maybe even port you fav songs into the game? without needing to have your browser open? Camila Cabello? Ed Sheeran? Shawn Mendes? DJ Snake? The Weeknd? anyone? Now I am well aware these are a lot of new feature but they should take their time (I don't even care if it will take 2 years, as long as it would be added) so they will have PLENTY of time to implement. Kinda tired of filling up my repo with mods to get new cars and features.
Afiak the vivace took a year so it’s gonna take a LOT more time to do that. Also playing music from your car is a good idea but I’m not dealing with downloading every single song I like and dropping it into a folder, it would need a Spotify integration so you can just log in a hit play. Also it needs to actually emit the sound from the car, have different sound quality for different kinds of car, and sound different on the outside. I’m pretty sure you can use this: https://github.com/librespot-org?language=lua to make a an artificial Spotify connect receiver into the game so you can play through. It would take many many years to do all the stuff you want.
with the devs releasing two cars a year, and there being like 8 (i didn't count, just a completely blind guess) manufacturers, it would take like 4 years just for the cars.

What exactly is the point of this hypothetical content being released all at once instead of every 4ish months like they have been doing for the past 2 years?
I don't think it should be completely revamped, I just think the old models and textures should be updated and that's it. For example, the palm trees in Gridmap were the same models from 2013. The rock textures and models are from 2013, and the dirt roads are an old texture from 2013.
Tho the choice of things to do in it is kinda getting bland and repetitive. we need more types of ramps, more areas to explore and stuff like that. Me too. I went on a vacation to my grandpa's beach house and we are gonna stay here for about 5 months and so I had to use my business-class laptop that I use for my lectures and classes, and it has a VERY hard time running beam on any other map apart from gridmap. I miss my gaming pc. Well lets see now, I didn't say the cars had to be different, I just said they had to be new, so they could just do a ENTIRE body lift for all the cars. Well, first of all, that spotify thing is what I meant so say and your suggestion would actually fit pretty well, like the Burnside could only play certain songs while every other car with a proper radio could play whatever you wanted. second of all, I can wait lots of years for this to be released, because there will be tons of new mods to keep me entertained until the update comes out, so it wont be much of a problem.

etk 1100 wasnt even gonna be a thing i just did it so i could get better at manipulating chassis. majoron is going good tbh im only doing it for youtube lol journeyman is nice, working out texture issues now. --- Post updated --- very much so. but that isnt at all a high effort mod at all lol
