New test vid of my mod out EDIT: Added info from the vid: "CAUTION, for some reason this part of the Industrial map kills my computer.. Also i think im reaching the limits of how my computer (low spec) can handle my mod. Youtube as always gives the vid more contrast for some codec reason."
Thanks man, yeah its hella laggy. At certain parts of industrial map my computer hates life. Usually has about 30-45fps with my mod but its a low spec computer so i cant really blame it lagging lol
My front clip dimensions are completely off, I literally need to back out and physically measure every aspect of this goddamn thing with a tape measure. Haven't touched this project in awhile, I should have stayed more consistent. PS, that's not my truck on the left, it's just one I found on Craigslist last night.
Just a super-smoky PNW summer, I wish my model looked like that already -- it will eventually, I'm too much of a perfectionist to settle for anything less.
Blueprints are all but impossible to find and the ones I did use are very inaccurate. I've just been taking my own reference photos and thoroughly inspecting real ones. Most of the big dimensional issues are sorted now I think -- I've moved on to the powertrain for today anyways.
would it be terribly bad if you just cut your losses and said "inspired by" instead of "100% accurate" It would save quite the headache
It really annoyed me that i had to use the node grabber to open the hood. So with some wizardry i came up with this. [just a test for now, connected to headlights in this video] ***update i have binded it to the O key***
hydros are amazing aren't they you might want to create a new electrics channel instead of using the headlights to open it, though. Otherwise good work
why have a subaru with headgasket and ringland issues when you can have a transverse AWD turbo rotary prelude if someone can guess one of these color names you get a cookie.
