If you look at the years on the configurations, you'll see the timeline actually goes as follows:
1985-1987: Original sealed beam fascia used on all trims
1988: New stacked headlight fascia introduced, old fascia continues to be used on fleet and lower-end models until 1990
1990: Old fascia receives a minor refresh and is instead offered on special and high end models as an alternate "classic style" fascia until 1993
1994: New fascia is the only fascia offered

The only exception is the Zeta, which has the 1990-1993 fascia but is listed as a 1988-1994 model. I have to assume that's a simple oversight.

I guess I should make a wish list for things that aren't already found in the files for the facelift.
    1. New Door handles for the facelift models (as well as some for the pre Facelift aswel)
    2. More modern and softer edged trim moldings.
    3. More modern door mirrors (could probably use the ones from the Facelift Roamer)
    4. An updated stepside bed.
    5. Newer looking door cards as well as a newer rear view mirror setup (similar to the GMT800 pickups)
    6. More wheel options.
    7. Some slight engine bay touches like a cover over the engine.

Thank You For Coming to My TED Talk and please leave some suggestions for me to add to the list.

No, I just posted something in the wrong thread, deleted all of the text and put a period in it's place.

Some of us have the mentality of a 12 year old. Or are actually 12 years old.

Thoughts on the updated D Series Interior? I hope for bucket seats with headrests.

I hope for customizable radio head units. Either higher trim ones from factory (Kinda like the Sunburst with it's basic radio and Sat Nav radio options for different trims) or aftermarket ones. I'd doubt most 30+ year old trucks still have their stock radio, as most 30 year old trucks that I have personally seen have LED galore head units with touch screens and whatnot.

I agree, almost every old truck I have seen that isn't owned by a fleet or used exclusively for towing has an aftermarket headunit that is installed wrong. In the old GMs they get installed where the cassette deck was, causing the headunit to stick out of the dashboard. Here is the one in my Suburban as an example.

A tow truck would be a nice addition, I'm surprised it's not in the base game yet
