The Nissan Laurel was a car Honestly the main reason I chose it was because it's boxy so the jbeam and the modelling are easier, plus it's RWD. The model so far is not perfect, but I'm not going for a 1:1 replica. Don't really have the skill level for that either lol, I'll just try to make it look good and call it an Ibishu. Like I said, far from perfect, but I'll clean up the obviously bad areas when I finish the whole body. I'll just scale up and stretch an 80s Pessima for the jbeam, the drivetrain and suspension will be from a 200BX since it's RWD. I don't have any experience with jbeam yet, but since its body shape is so similar to a Pessima I think I'll manage You can also suggest names if you have something good in mind, just don't comment Ibishu Laura lmao
The mesh needs some improvements in a few areas, but for the most part it seems as you got the body shape down The old Pessima also has an RWD option
Ibishu Laura Jokes aside, it looks pretty good! Just a suggestion though; Maybe you can combine some faces there, it doesn't flow the best where I circled
i know, but the Laurel was longitudinal. pessima is transverse only iirc thanks! and yeah i know, thats probably the messiest area. i just wanna finish the body first and then get to stuff like that
Nice, could always do with more 80s cars Also another polyflow suggestion, use edgeslide (double press g on verticies) to make the edges going across the hood line up straight with the ones going up the fender. If you want to make it perfectly straight you can select all the ones you want to move, double press g, then press e and then if needed press f to flip. Anyways, good luck
body shell is finished-ish, a little rough in some spots and a couple of things are still missing but good enough for now. these screenshots are with no smoothing at all applied, so keep that in mind currently putting in the engine, drivetrain and suspension from the 200BX, which actually fits pretty well. the engine is smaller than any of the laurel engines though, so ill probably also do a pessima engine for the upper trims
yeah i know, it's huge lol. im gonna scale it down when i get to actually putting it in the game. i just used some random blueprints i got off google, they seem accurate for the most part
Well, not exactly. The rules state that English is the primary language and should be used most of the time, but if someone speaks another, the rules state that they need to provide a rough translation for common courtesy.
Looks sick man, love a good Ceffy/Laurel, and great to see Nissans finally being added, it’s about time. I’d suggest making a carbon copy or as close as you can. As for a name I’d suggest the Japanese word for luxury, Zeitaku.
