    I can only use the tires of the mod on the finatray-roadsport, but not on other cars. Do you know why? :(

    Nevermind, I fixed it myself. It's just a bit sad that they are 16 inch. Maybe you could make a 17/18 inch version one day, I would like that really much. :D Anyways, thank's for the help!:):);)

    2 of them were already on the to do list. Will add the TE37s. I make no promise on when im making them since i still have some other work to do on the mod + some other wheels.

    Hello everyone,

    I received permission to upload a modification of D-Troxx's wheel pack. I'm sure a good number of you have noticed D-Troxx's race tires do not grip as well as the vanilla ones. The primary goal of this modification is to try to make these outdated tires perform similarly to the vanilla tires. So far I have only modified race tires, since that is my primary choice for blitzing corners at speed. With the changes I made, peak grip is slightly higher than vanilla (cornering maybe 1-3km/h faster). I decided such is acceptable because it balances a major flaw of the outdated tires: it seems the tires, especially rear, have worse slip angles (if that makes any sense). The rear-end regardless of drivetrain seems to want to step out too much on power and hard braking in relation to the front. Overall, the modified race tires should be as fast or faster than vanilla race tires, but less consistent and less confidence-inspiring. Do keep in mind this is a stopgap AKA not a proper solution to the outdates wheels and tires. D-Troxx has suggested that the normals, nodes, jbeams, etc will all be properly updated one day.

    If other people (especially those with a proper wheel setup) can test the tires out and provide input on how they feel compared to vanilla, it'd be greatly appreciated. So far I tried 14x6-8, 13x8, 17x8-10 wheels on cars like the Miramar, Covet, and 200BX at different power levels and with different aero. I'd like input confirming my own experiences with these sizes or better yet with other sizes on other cars etc. If anybody else wants to tweak variables and one-up me, go for it. I just want these tires to be as usable as possible, so please do get permission from D-Troxx if you have improvements.

    If you report your results, please also state your controller (keyboard, gamepad, wheel, etc), vehicles tested, and wheel/tire size tested.

    If you would like me to do sports tires as well, please leave an agree. Currently I haven't done any other compound because (1) I have not tried them and (2) I do not see the point of hotlapping with them, but if there is enough interest, I will consider doing sports after I can confirm the race tires are decent enough.

    • Increased front friction coefficient from 1.23 to 1.60
    • Added front sliding friction coefficient of 1.58
    • Increased rear friction coefficient from 1.23 to 1.63
    • Added rear sliding friction coefficient of 1.62

    Thank you so much. I didn't use his wheel pack for quite some time because the race tires were simply not grippy enough like the vanilla ones. I'll give these a shot and hopefully they'll work well now.

    By any chance, does anyone have a list with pictures of the rims included in this pack for a quick reference that I can use when I make my own custom cars in-game?
    I'm not that well at remembering names so I think a list with photos and names would help me and others in finding the rims they want faster. great mod and keep up the great work D-Troxx

    Specific wheels for me, like OZ superturismo and all sizes are just invisible apart from the tires, i cleared cache, everything but they are still invisible

    Could you start your game and spawn a car with those wheels and then go to your BeamNG drive folder in your Documents folder (\Documents\BeamNG.drive) and sent the "beamng.log" to me via dm?

    I have no clue why it happens. could only be another mod interfering with mine. Which would mean someone throwing the wheels in their mod without me knowing of it.
    Since they work perfectly fine for me. Or I made some stupid mistake somewhere . . .

    Could you drop this file in your mods folder, clear your cache and try again in game?

    It might be failing to create a cache file.

    I deactivated all of my other mods and your mod worked perfectly fine. If I ever figure out which mod is the issue ill either pm you or ill edit this post.

    Damn, hoped it would work.
    Since somehow the game is unable to create a cache file on your side I wont be able to do much about it since it works correct for me. The only thing we can do is hoping it will magically be fixed with the upcoming update of the wheel pack.
    The upcoming update will also greatly reduce the "first time startup" load time btw :)

    Sorry for the bump, but all the stretched tires and wheels in the mod are entirely invisible on my side, if I disable all mods except for the wheel pack and fit one of the wheels on any car, the entire car disappear and the camera also disconnects (doesn't follow the now invisible car anymore) but the car is still fully functional.

    EDIT: I tried to reinstall the mod and it's back into order again, so this one was kinda unnecessary...ehh...sorry!
