What's the difference between the Eco, Standard and Performance battery and transmission?

 

Motor power and battery capacity. There are three stock configurations of the ETK800 Hybrid, each having different performance characteristics.

 

How much capacity would each of those batteries have?

 

It's specified in the JBeam part configurations for each of them; I can't recall exactly. The capacity isn't really something you need to pay attention to, aside from the long-range battery which is intended for actual electric-only driving. I believe it's 100 kWh.

Yep, that's a good summary. The characteristics of the Eco are directly based on a standard Prius, with 0-60 of about 12 seconds. I tried to match the power, acceleration, gearing, and battery capacity to the Prius as accurately as possible. The Sport model is closer to something like the Lexus LS300h or LC500h, or the new RAV4 Prime, with 0-60 of about 5.5 seconds. The Performance model is entirely fictional and all of the parameters are fairly extreme, but the performance probably compares to something like the Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid (what a mouthful!), with a 0-60 somewhere around 3 seconds if the tires can maintain grip.

I've noticed the engine cuts out at 80% charge on the 100KWh battery. Is there a way to modify this limit?

hey dude i have a bug the etk 800 hybrid 856rh "Race Hybrid" this car when i shift to reverse that car is not moving he drive's foward not reverse nothing at all and i shift to reverse again but i'm not touching the gas at all he reverse it self the reverse accelerate it"s so slow can you fix it arcanox

 

I'm not fully understanding your issue, but I'm guessing you have another mod installed that is breaking mine, or you don't have the Core mod installed.

 

I have actually experienced this issue myself. What Darrell is trying to explain is that with the ETK Hybrid, it does reverse, or at least it attempts to but fails. I am not sure what it is trying to do, it almost seems like some of the wheels are still still rotating forward while the other wheels have actually engaged in reverse. What happens is that the car will only reverse when there is no throttle input since whichever wheels are not engaged in reverse are in a neutral state. Hope that clears things up.

 

I've never seen this happen personally in my own testing; are you able to reproduce that consistently enough to record a video of it happening, preferably without any other mods installed?

 

Although I have not tried it without other mods enabled, and if it persists, I will upload a recorded video the issue hopefully later today.

 

This mod and the bus won't work with 0.21 update, please fix it.

 

I'm currently installing the update on my own PC; I'll see what kind of fixes are needed once that's done.

 

I have a problem with mod, when I try to move the revs go to 5000 and the battery just runs out after respawning the car writes that the mod is broken

 

i really wish this mod had a customizable battery pack size, like from full to dead can be something you input in the tuning page, i would like to have a 6.3 kwh pack like in a prius prime for long distance trips i would like to see if i could make

Yeah this doesn't work anymore, whenever you put it into drive it just sets the throttle at full, drains the ev motor, and you can't move
