KDE is not a desktop environment. Plasma is the desktop, where as KDE is the company that made it (among other software)
In manjaro, there is a desktop environment called 'KDE Plasma' and that's what I meant. I just called it only KDE for the simplicities' sake.
Sorry to rescue this old post, but I think it is more than justified on this occasion. I just found out that the developers are implementing the Vulkan API for rendering the game, which could make things a lot easier when creating a Linux port of this fantastic game. Dear devs, is there any chance for you Linux fans to enjoy your game natively? Regards
We are trying to get a linux build out. It is not ready yet and misses some core components still. However, it is very important to understand that we do not have the capacity to do customer support on the linux version as well.
Because MacOS runs on an (extremely) modified version of Linux does this mean BeamNG will also come to Mac at some point in the future?
I'm really glad to read this (can't wait!) I also would like to say that I can understand that you don't give the same customer support like in Windows. Please, keep us informed
Mac is also a very tiny market compared to the other platforms. It is currently not planned. (not to mention most of their GPU's are too weak to run the game) Sorry about that :/
thank you for replying, I was asking because everyone Was asking me in the official discord, I can just link them here for now
