Well it's quite simple all I do is go to the beamng folder in my d drive and open up the beamng folder and go to mods where I open that up and place it in the repo file. There is also a tutorial in beamng on how to download mods both ways. You should try them. good day!

Ok and before you ask where the tutorial is it is in the wiki once you see the guides part click on how to install mods.
    --- Post updated ---
Oh and I know it says create a mods folder in there but there should already be one

The offroad configuration looks neat but I'm sure when there are more parts added you could try updating because to me it kind of only looks like a lifted dodge charger not much else to it that I can see but I'm sure when more parts come out you will add more. :D

In case you want to compare the real world to this mod or the Barstow, see below. I crashed both into four concrete dividers at exactly 100mph.

It looks like the Barstow reflects real life more closely. The Charger (and the Coronet mod) appear to be a little too robust.

I strongly agree that the Charger and Coronet are way too robust. If you've ever seen the General Lee do a jump you'll see most of the quarter panel get all bent out of shape, while here its practically unnoticeable and nearly impossible to distort without seriously messing up the drive-train. I think the rear quarter panels and front fenders need to be weakened. Also, the grill tends to clip through the fenders on impact... I mean just watch videos of the Dukes of Hazzard or Bullitt or the seemingly endless movies where a Charger gets destroyed (makes me cringe lol) and you'll see how they get pretty easily warped or dented and make the comparison to in-game. So leave the drive train strength (or even strengthen them so we can bang it around more without being unable to control it) and make the panels more easily damageable...

I think this mod's drivetrain damageability is probably the most realistic in the game; even of the official vehicles. Heck, those of us with carbeurated vehicles know that even a sharp / sudden maneuver will kill the engine. In this game we can hit a tree at 30 and keep on keeping on.

That's true, I drive three carbeurated vehicles, a Willys MB (World War Two Jeep,) a 1929 Studebaker Dictator (a 1 of 4 and the only one restored) and a 1988 Toyota Pickup with 555,000+ miles on it, no rebuild, 100% original. I'm also in the market for a classic muscle car with my next project probably being a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda with a factory 383 4bbl and factory high-impact paint color. I get how finicky it can be to keep them in tune and stalling them out on a sharp maneuver, but I mean things like the wheels getting knocked out of alignment so easily, makes police chases and stuff much more annoying. Am I saying make them crazy unrealistic in their strength across the whole Mod's lineup? No. But maybe for the General Lee make it a little tougher or add it as parts so it can handle more "fun." I do think the sheetmetal needs weakening though

    1. Open the games file Location provided through right clicking on the game in STEAM.
    2. After right clicking go down to PROPERTIES and click on that.
    3. After a new window opens up go to the LOCAL FILES tab and click on that
    4. Click on BROWSE LOCAL FILES and that will open the games files.
    5. A window will open up, anywhere in the clear space right click and make a new folder, name that folder mods.
    6. Take the downloaded zip file (leave it zipped, don't unzip it) drag and drop it into the mods folder.

After you have done all that the zip files should work for you.
