0.20 Discussion thread | Use Safe Mode before reporting

Were crash particles toned down this update? It feels like there are a lot less than usual.

 

Idk, but I'm missing most of the crash sounds and I still didn't got an answer from the devs.

 

30mph is a major collision IRL That sort of damage is accurate.

 

Here are some of my recent suggestions...

I don't know, some guys might like it, but for me the new order of wheels is more confusing and less comfortable to use. Please bring back the old one.

Some vehicles are too loud in interior, even louder in exterior.

I just updated and tried loading in the updated roamer and the headlights and tail lights are pure orange. I've disabled any mods that have the roamer included in it and there still orange.

 

switch the car to another car and then back to the roamer, or keep the mods disabled, and close beam then reopen it, and if that doesn't work, vertify integrity in both the beamng launcher and steam. this happened to me, and then i did all of those things, and it fixed it. any mods that add parts need to be disabled.

 

To any vehicle in game or just the ones that include the Roamer?

 

change the roamer to anything but a roamer

 

Ok I did that I verified integrity from beams start up, but I don’t know how to verify integrity from steam

 

Yeah, I wish I had done that. I had a zipped copy of 0.19.4.2 that I downloaded from Humble Bundle but it got corrupted somehow so I would seem to be out of luck. I had Steam set to auto update. I've since fixed that little mistake.

 

Can you try remove the "settings" folder from user folder? Or just "cloud" folder from there...

 

What would removing the settings folder do?

Ok, I already have cleared the cache, but just to better understand light still comes off of the lights but what would be the physical lights are orange

Ok I found it, I just deactivated all my mods and that worked the lights are fine now. Now I just have to go through all of them. Thx for all the help though

 

Hello. I noticed that your cars wheels will disappear when you go into vehicle config. and put the dummy or stig in the car. At one point i put the stig in the semi truck and the tires disappeared. Then when i just added new tires, it broke the engine. But after reloading the same vehicle and not adding the stig, the truck was ok and worked. Also noticed missing tires. Looks like car is floating. But vehicle still drives in some cases. If you record that car driving, the tires will show up on the recording. Noticed a lot of other things since the update , but i'm not worried about those.

I take the screenshots from the ingame thing. Don't know why it never saved anymore in the "screenshots" folder.

 

What EXACTLY you do? What buttons or there more do you press?

 

So first of all, I click the screenshots button, then it brings Me to the "screenshot menu" there, so we can adjust the FOV, Roll, etc. What I did is when I got happy with the view I click the button "Take Screenshot". For a moment the game freeze and plays the camera sfx sound, then I'm able to take more screenshots. But all the screenshots now just gone disappeared, they are not saved in "that" folder anymore.

 

Hey, you did not screenshots but shots from Photo mode.

But it's works for me fine.
