I think it's really planted, of course as a rr car it has understeer plus snap oversteer when your pedal game isn't spot on in curves and ESC is disabled... Are you using a controller or a ffb wheel?

I noticed that too sometimes after hard braking the ESC prevents any accelerating for like three seconds, I also thought the SBR drove kinda wonky when I started playing the game with a steering wheel, but now I think it's almost perfect

if you tune the engine and make it faster, at 270kmh it starts to fish around also with more than 800hp it really doesnt wanna go straight and when you try putting better suspension in it will make it worse...

downdays every sportscar can get over 800hp without any trouble, compare the SBR4 to the Nissan GTR and you notice how umbalanced the SBR4 is.... all other cars in BeamNG also can handle over 800hp well, but the SBR4 just starts to struggle and after 250kmh even without giving anygas there it starts to fish around... there is something wrong in that thing that makes it like a sportscar sponsored by wish

thing is, the R35 is a car engineered around a ~500hp engine from the very beginning, where not only does the SBR use a non-ideal engine layout, its chassis would more be designed to be more cost effective, somewhere between the power levels of a base model, like a GT86, to more like the S1, with around 300hp. the 475hp S2 is just squeezing as much as you safely can out of it.
the GTR also has insanely complex traction control systems, and the SBR hasn't even got the revamped drivemodes yet...

also, i reiterate, git gud. I can manage it around JRI on keyboard with no hillclimb aero, maxed out s3 turbos, and no ESC. you just need to learn when to not have a lead-foot.

You clearly didn't drive the first version of Bolide if You think 800 HP makes SBR handle too difficult.

looking at the car, you would think thats its a 600hp+ monster but, its just a sportcar ordered from wish :)

Mili mentioned the old version of the Bolide, which doesn't compare to how she currently handles at all.

As for the SBR: We are talking about a 7 year old platform with a starting value under $40k (just a reminder, the 2020 GTR starts at $113k), with maximum factory power under 450hp without considering the electric variant. It isn't much newer or expensive than a 370z or the Toyotaruion (the BRZ as normal people call it).

Expecting it to handle 800hp is just... no. That's more than any production Lamborghini aside from the Sian (almost there though) and SCV12 (again almost there, and that thing isn't even road legal). That's significantly more than Aston Martin's most powerful car (DBS SuperLeggera). That absolutely dwarfs the power of the Ford GT, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, and so on. The eSBR 800 would be one of the most powerful production cars in the world. In a platform that is both as old as and affordable as a BRZ. Asking it to take that and handle any better than point and shoot is not happening.

All things considered, she handles great for what she is. The hillclimb version is a track beast.

BTW, the hillclimb SBR is consistently the fastest stock car around racetracks in our own testing.

Speaking of new content for her... The SBR product line has some holes that really need to be filled. I wouldn't say new body styles or engines, but I'd definetly like to see the lineup as a whole get touched up like the remastered vehicles got.

Personally I would change the name in the vehicle selector so that the primary selector has just the platform code and the secondary selector has the model names (reference the FCV and D-Series/Charro). Hirochi SBR --> eSBR & SBR4.

    As for actual content:

First off, I'd push the model years of the SBR4 around and introduce an interim model between the two curent ones. At the moment both models are listed as 2013-2020. I'd introduce Ninteynine's facelift mod as official as a 2017-2019. It looks good and fits perfectly as an interim facelift. It's just such a big gap between the standard and eSBR facelift right now...

Second, I'd introduce a new 2020/2021 facelift for the ICE. I realize the SBR is a weird car, but the sudden switch to electric only on a 7 year old platform is pretty weird even for it. Selling them both at the same time seems like a more sensible approach.

As for the eSBR. I'd say the 300/500 are fine, just call them a 2020/2021 model year instead of 2013-2020. The 800, as I mention in my other post, is just plain extreme for a road car. I would call it a pre-production concept/media car or something... The car itself is fine, but the idea that anyone could walk up to their local dealership and buy it doesn't sit right.

Then there's my suggestion for every brand: A tuning company/line/in house department. Basically give Hirochi an equivelant to Nismo for the top performance trim.

As in twin turbo V blocks? I can't imagine any V block fitting in this car

I don't think an intermediate facelift is necessary, considering cars like the 370z and BR86 (similarly priced cars) didn't get a facelift in that time, though i do agree, an ICE-ified version of the ESBR's bodywork would be a welcome addition.

My concern isn't so much the time, just how big of a difference the two we currently have are. It's a huge styling jump. Ninteynine is a dev now and already designed a good stylistic stepping stone

a hot V would fit right in, a V8 with the turbos right on the intake like amg did with their 4.0l V8

SBR4 is one of the most attractive fictional cars ever devised imho.
