What does the "Adaptive power steering" part do on ETKs?

Hi, I found the part under "steering" and I selected it, but even with a wheel I don't feel too much of a difference vs regular power steering, even in sport ESC.

 

seems like power steering is just a general assistance in force, and the adaptive power steering is variable based on some different parameters

 

It made the steering wheel easy to turn while standing still, but progressively gets heavier as you gain speed.

 

Sorry for the bump, but I just got a logitech g29. Why is adaptive power steering not available on all vehicles? Also, what is the state of power steering simulation as a whole?

 

power steering is only in cars that would have it irl, also all cars come with no power steering by derfault, i tend to use it almost all the time because my wheel would be too strong otherwise but its generally not needed, especially if you race, as it hides some ffb details
